Mo and all of the other team members are friendly and welcoming, and most importantly, they know how to help you solve whatever hardware-related problem that you arrived with. They have a great inventory with things that may be hard to find, or things that you can kind of describe but you don't know what it's called.
It also has an intangible old-school neighborhood hardware store feel, which for me brings back great memories of going to the hardware store in my small hometown with my Dad when I was young.
