He takes the time to explain everything in detail and makes sure you understand what is going on with your pet. When my dog needed an ultrasound, he was very quick to arrange an in-house ultrasound and made the whole process much less stressful.
What really stood out to me was that he called several days later just to check on Decues and see how she was doing, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful and kind. He is always helpful and willing to answer any questions or concerns I have. You can truly tell that he cares about his patients and their families.
Thank you, Dr. Jakimer, for always fitting Decues into your schedule, even at the last minute. It truly means a lot and is very much appreciated. Thank you for your kind words and going above and beyond and working with us.

148 Fifth Ave, PelhamMy party of four dined at Pelican Room, and overall, we had a really good experience. Our waiter was outstanding, and the rest of the staff was friendly and attentive.
I ordered two daiquiris, but I’m fairly certain they were actually margaritas. No complaints from me, though, because I love a good margarita! The casual food items were the real standouts. The pizza and burgers were amazing, and everyone in our group really enjoyed them. We also decided to take a chance on the $50 steak, but unfortunately, that was the one disappointment of the meal. My husband is a big steak guy, and he didn’t feel it lived up to the price or the description on the menu. Aside from the steak, we really enjoyed our visit. Great service, great staff, and some really delicious food. I’d definitely return, especially for the pizza and burgers!

65 1st Street, PelhamWe came here for an early dinner. There is a step up to the restaurant from the curb so something to keep in mind if you have a stroller or mobility issues. The restaurant is modern and upscale. There is a bar on one side and tables are nicely spaced out so you have breathing room. The menu is offered on convenient digital tablets. They have great options for cocktails. I got the mezcal eclipse. It was alcohol forward. Not as smoky as some mezcals. I enjoyed the spiced rim. My mom got the coconut lemonade. It was creamy, airy, and almost tasted like cotton candy. They offer a flight of margaritas, which would be fun to try next time. For an appetizer, we got the fried calamari. My mom loved the accompanying green sauce. We also got the pear salad. It was supposed to come with candied walnuts and a vinaigrette dressing, but it didn't have any nuts and was dressed with honey mustard. Still it was tasty and a good portion size. The goat cheese was very fresh. We also got the spinach artichoke dip, which was rich and hearty. For my main, I had the penne vodka. It was very creamy. My family enjoyed the duck and the pork chops as well. In terms of service, it was initially slow. Drinks took about a half hour to come out. Even though we ordered our appetizers and entrees together, our waiter didn't put in our order right away so we had another shorter wait. Around 7:30 live music started. The singers were great and created a really nice ambiance. Would be a good option for date night.
