“I went to the store during their 4th of July sale and Irandel greeted me and assisted me right away. She showed me the mattresses on sale and when I told her my concerns and budget, she showed me all the options (and thankfully there were plenty!). Irandel was very knowledgeable of the different kinds of mattresses, how springs affect support, explaining gel mattresses etc. She was personable from the start. Even if I asked the same question over and over again till I understood, she was patient and explained it till I got it. She interacted with me like a regular person and I enjoyed that the most. Ended up buying a mattress and I can’t wait to sleep on it lol!”

He was a refreshing difference from other antique dealers who were frankly rude on the phone.”

“We are thrilled with our new built-in book cases! The price was right in the middle of our budget range, which no one else could quote for our custom design. We have purchased from Gothic previously - we started with a small, unfinished bookcase years ago, then purchased a bed recently, which we were very happy with - but nothing custom until now. We had a great consultation with Vagelis, who understood right away what we needed (it helped that we had drawings and photos). He was very flexible when we decided on some small changes we wanted to make. The whole process was easy and stress-free. He was also polite and understanding when we called a couple of times to check on the progress of the project.
We had to wait about 5 months because the piece is large, which was a challenge for us because we were so excited about the project, but it arrived on time, and custom installation went unusually smoothly (for anything custom in NYC).
Because they have been around in NYC for decades, they are not surprised or thrown off by the crazy design issues that come up in our old buildings.
The cases are perfect - exactly what we wanted! Minor, fixable issues do not dim our enjoyment of the cases.
I highly recommend Gothic Cabinet Craft for their premade products and for their custom design work! Any time we have had something installed by them, service has been polite and clean. We have never been left with a mess or had an unpleasant experience with the installers. Will add photos soon.”

“PSA announcement there is a new Target that just opened up in Brooklyn NY Kings Plaza mall where Sears use to be and if you know me personally let me tell you I love me a Target and I was there opening day which I believe was August 19th :) I was definitely all smiles, especially seeing that it was three floors of lusciousness. I couldn't help but pick up a few items especially in the food section. The price range is the same. I am a big foodie lol. “Was coming there since the early 90s when it was a mall called Store World. REAL Bushwick/Ridgewood cats will remember that. Used to grab comic books and video games there as a kid. When it became this Liberty Department store, I was junior high/HS age.. I used to used to cop lil trinkets, little gear, little underwear, lil hoodie here and there after school, come here with my ladies and sit in front of the fans and cool off in the summers before continuing on.. or I would pop in to get lil knick nacks and admire the females working here.
Shoutout to the two West Indian dudes that used to take the bags. they had to working there over 15 years EASY, but doesn't seem like either of em are there anymore. Hope they're in good health wherever they are. Anyway, never had a bad experience there, staff always friendly and helpful, prices are compatible with economic people, and always have good deal going. Shoutout to Liberty, still going strong in a changing city.”
“I went on July 02-2023 to purchase a bedroom set, living room set, and dining room set. The manager/owner was very respectful and patient with me he even gave me a full run down of their 3rd party financing company (which most furniture stores don’t give) which was very helpful on my end. He explained everything from how much interest they take and how long I have to pay with no interest to helping me call the finance company to adjust payment. With regard to delivery they were pretty much on point other than the fact they delivered a day after scheduled which is understandable because most companies close on July 4 so everything was backed up. I really recommend this furniture store not only for its precise quality, timing, but also for its very cheap price that will beat every furniture store in queens!!!!”
