“I highly recommend! I like the small store, rather than big box, atmosphere. Sales people were very friendly and seemed knowledgable. I needed to have my sliding back door re-screened, but wasn't able to get it off the track. Two guys from the store (Neal and Rick) offered to come out right away and remove the door for me! When the screen repair was completed, they offered to come back and replace it on the track if I couldn't, which I tried but couldn't. After calling to let them know, it took a little while for them to come back, but they finally did, as promised! Amazing customer service! Thank you Neal and Rick!!”

When I called to confirm, Mike answered the phone and did confirm my order. It shipped out the next day, again with a personal email with tracking number. “I cannot say enough good things about this store! Attentive and helpful staff, competitive pricing and easy parking. I went to Penfield Home Depot today before I remembered Ace in Pittsford. The hoses I wanted to purchase at Home Depot were there, but no price on them or anywhere that I could determine. I looked everywhere for someone to help...NADA...and no actual cashier in sight. After waiting in line at "self checkout", I finally put the items back, left the store and drove directly to Ace. They greeted me immediately, told me where to find the correct hoses, checked on other items I needed and answered my questions about them. When I looked up Home Depot price for same hoses on my computer, turns out the hoses at Ace were exactly one tiny cent more than at Home Depot! Loving Hadlock Ace Hardware!”

Then you can come here for that tool, hopefully, OR...you can build a better tool w/ the stuff here.If there's a sale going on, U gotta grab it quick before it's gone...they had ONE roller cart tool chest left, I grabbed it @ $180! “That Ryan Becker review is garbage. The reason you shouldn't replace your own limit switch is because you may be just replacing a part that is the symptom, not the cause. I've seen seasoned technicians replace the same part over and over before they realize they were not looking at the whole system operation. In the case of a limit switch issue, I would be curious to know if he checked the static pressure or the gas valve input to verify proper flow of both air throughout the system, and combustible gas. Furthermore, I would check for obstructions with my camera as well as identify if the heat exchanger is damaged which could be allowing excess heat through the airway.But yeah, it's Johnstone's fault. New York is full of do it yourself handymen. No wonder the housing market here is terrible. Ryan, if you can't afford a professional, just say so next time.”

He was extremely patient, very professional, resourceful and very kind to not only recommend the correct hinges for my project but also helped put the wood planks together for me. He went over and above helping us!!I was later helped by Maureen at the Service desk to make truck rental arrangements. She went over and above too to stow my items overnight. “This place is top notch and it’s like a museum that you can shop in! Ignore the online reviews because it is physically impossible for them to inventory and take pictures of every last little item. They have in stock if it is something old..even if you just need some specific hundred year old tiles to fit around the radiator pipe this is a place for it or if you need to do old molding to add style to your house this is the place but it’s amazing all of the items they have in stock for any room of the house interiors exteriors it’s incredible. Like I said it’s a museum that you can shop in!! 37 stars as far as I’m concerned”

Also once you arrive here there are plenty of other companies this one as soon as you enter and pass the restaurant on your right hand side take a right straight up ahead the last building is the one for prime source .”

“Update 6/30/22 - changed rating to 4 stars from 1 star. Manager (Dan) coordinated additional pickup for left behind section of bunk beds. Hopefully staff will be trained and canned responses will reflect the supports for bunk beds are included in approved donations.6/23/22 feedback- I find it very wasteful that u will not take the wooden plank support bottom that comes with the bed frame when a bunkbed is purchased. This isn't a box spring- why won't the team accept this part of the bed? Someone has to build or buy this as an extra purchase even though they may be strapped for cash?I am disappointed. It would have been helpful to know that you considered the wooden planks that cross the framing a "box spring" when u sent the original note explaining mattresses are not accepted.You should revisit how bunkbeds are sold because that is part of the furniture purchase. Not a purchase i had to make separate for a "box spring" as your techs tried to explain it.Thanks for considering.”

“I don't come to this location often, only because it isn't that close to home and we are the kinda people that start a task and have to go shopping while the house is basically torn a part. I always get a little lost at first, because I am a Lowe's shopper by default. The last time I was in here, I got great assistance from an employee! He helped me find potting soil and even carried it to a cart for me. He was fantastic! I really appreciate the self check out in this store. Spacious and it is quick and easy to use. Definitely a nice hardware store.”

Joe is the man; I reached out to him because the local door companies in Buffalo weren't interested in bidding one of our door projects (Express Store in mall). Joe and crew installed this for us after hours and did a great job. Even though there was an error in manufacturing with the wrong coil side noted, he was able to remedy this in field even though it required a second long trip out there. Great, professional work!”
