Can’t endorse Saugertails enough! Amazing stock of stuff you can’t get anywhere else in the area, and great counsel from the knowledgeable owner, Amy. She’s helpful and patient when answering questions, and trustworthy when making recommendations that are truly in the best interest of the pets you’re purchasing for. -Two of my four have health issues, and it can be extremely draining both emotionally and financially. Amy’s helped me figure out what products I can buy to get them healthier, AND she’s honest about what I actually don’t need to add to my cart. My 4 and 1/2 month old Australian labradoodle had her first haircut here this week. We were a little nervous, because our son brought her in and we weren't sure that all our requests on style of haircut would be met. We should NOT have worried. She got a fantastic haircut and some issues that we forgot to mention (like cutting the hair below the ear extra-short to allow more air into the ear to decrease risk of infection) were appropriately addressed. Very, very happy with her haircut. I can't imagine going anywhere else, even though it is pricey.

Helpful and kind! Never rude. Took my dog there 15 years before he passed. Now my cat is a patient. Good and sometimes untraditional treatments. Herbal medicine helped my dog when he hurt his neck and poor thing cried in pain until taking cervical formula powder. When we came back a second visit because the problem wasn't immediately obvious they didn't charge me a week later when the solution was found. Offered holistic medicine for my cats hot spots and dietary suggestions such as feeding her duck. I have tried other vets since moving outside the village and was consistently disappointed to say the least. Excellent veterinary services at Saugerties Animal Hospital!

Had an amazing dinner at Anarella Restaurante. We walked in without a reservation and were warmly welcomed and seated at the bar right away. The staff was friendly and attentive from the start.

We began with fresh bread and salad, followed by the lamb meatballs, which were incredible, tender, flavorful, and served with a delicious sauce. My partner had the lobster and shrimp pasta, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I had the truffle purse pasta, which was outstanding, rich, balanced, and not overpowering.
The margaritas were excellent, well made and not watered down. Dessert was a great way to end the meal. The highlight was meeting the owner, who personally came over to greet us and thank us again as we were leaving.
Fantastic food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality.

Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

My first time to Sue's as a local in the neighborhood, I was greeted my Fred with a friendly smile. I was on my lunch break so I ordered to go. Fred suggested the chicken cutlet hero. My order was in quickly, while I enjoyed the Yankee game at the bar on big HD flatscreens. My sandwich was delicious, real cutlet lightly breaded, with very fresh bread. Sue's is a local gem, classy decor, a comfortable environment.

Food was great and very fresh, the inside was super cute, and we got our food quick. Unfortunately, once our food was served, service slowed way down and getting our check at the end proved to be a challenge. Our server was caught up in conversation with another employee, and I eventually had to get up and ask for it. When I approached them, I was essentially glowered at by the other woman. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars.
