“I appreciate that this business has helped me to find beverages and snacks. I'm a businessman and I like that the quality of all the products is great! The variety is awesome. All kinds of goods. The people there are very friendly to me as well. I've bought sandwiches too. I suggest a Philly cheese steak(I request for jalapeños for mine because a bit of spiciness is good too). The candies are also very good selection(all of them are very good. I've had practically all of them and absolutely would recommend any and all of them!). Overall, it is a great shopping experience, and I'd like to say thanks to all those involved. Have a great day, everyone, and thanks again!”

“Best place for really fresh fish. Taste much different from those 'thawed out' fish that you get at other stores. You can actually taste the freshness from the ocean when you get fish from here. Quite a big difference in taste!”

“I was at the cash register at directly 3:38 pm on the 26th of February when I already put my goods on the cash register and I had to step away for 3 minutes or so to take an extremely important phone call. When I walked back to the cash register the cashier an Indian lady started to scream at me “NEXT TIME TAKE A BASKET” mind you I had a basket and I just took my stuff out to cash and they were on the register belt. She was so rude. So usually I would go to C Town to buy my groceries and occasionally go to Apna Bazar but this time I decided to go here. Now I was thinking as I walked in to come here more often because the prices are good and the environment is clean as well but now after this experience with the cashier I’m rethinking if I should just stick to my regular place of purchase! I hope this review comes to the attention of the owners and they can improve on their customer service. Other than this employee’s rude behavior I have nothing against Apna Bazaar!

I personally don’t have this card and haven’t needed it, but many people often ask where these cards are accepted, so I decided to mention it. This is another Bangladeshi-owned supermarket in New York with a convenient location. Along with the Bengali community, many Guyanese customers also shop here.

“This is an AWESOME West Indian bent grocery store. Has some of your basic groceries and a startling array of fresh fish and meats, geared to West Indian cooks, with Halal meats (they have chickens and ducks with feathers burned off instead of dunked in hot water, goat, lamb all cut up for stewing), lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. This place looks like its Korean owned, but let me tell ya, Koreans know their fish and vegetables!! I wish it was close to me in Brownstone Brooklyn, it took me forever to get here, but I will be back! This place is so clean! and even with all the variety of fish displayed I did not smell it. The fish and shellfish were inexpensive too. Now did you count how many times I'd mentioned fish?”
“Good store to shop at, but.... they have a surcharge for using a credit card. They don't tell u that until u look at the bill. Some of there prices are too high. I will shop elsewhere.”
