“This vans location is awesome! All staff are nice and helpful and you're always greeted with a smile. I have been to this site twice and both times my Husband and I went we are helped by Rami. Rami goes above and beyond to help you find the perfect fit and even recommends other sneakers/sandals or slip ons that may work for you that you didn't initially come into the store looking for. Rami goes into detail of the sneaker fit and all the qualities the sneaker or slip on has to offer you. Rami is patient and hangs by while you try your sneakers on in case of any questions or you need a different size. Rami had previously recommended a super comfy cush sneaker for my bad heel that I absolutely love and went back to buy my second pair. While there I had my first set of sneakers on that Rami recommended which made him remember me. Rami is so sweet he noticed I had a band aid on the back of my achilles and recommended a specific band aid that I could buy at Target just around the way from the mall. Rami even pulled up a picture of the specific band aid for me to have when I went to Target! Rami is a superstar, very sweet and incredibly knowledgeable of the Vans sneakers. If you are going to buy your Vans in store and can get to the Staten Island Mall location I would recommend going on a Saturday so you can be helped by Rami. Not to down play the other staff in the store as they're just as nice but my Husband and I have had the pleasure of being serviced by Rami both times we visited this location and have always left happy with our purchase and how nice and helpful Rami is.THANK YOU RAMI!!!!!”
“This store has a lot of great items and usually have the latest heat. The shelves are stocked, from shirts, socks, tees, hats and sneakers. Boots, jerseys and accessories. Associates are helpful, but one time all but one associate, a female with braces, who wasn't distracted by potential new customers and friends, actually devoted her attention into helping me, fulfill my order. Pardon the run on sentence. Store was clean , and I will probably return.”

“I walked into Champs on Friday feeling a little bit overwhelmed since i am not a big fan of retail shopping. Some of the employees didn't really approach me but one did and it was one of the greatest experiences i had as a consumer, especially one who doesn't love the idea of shopping in a mall. Her name was Tina and i am not sure of her title at the store but it should have been manager if it wasn't. She was knowledgeable on not only the product line but the size (actual size) on how things actually fit. She knew prices and was able to answer any and all questions i had. While this alone was impressive, her attitude and personality is what is leading me to write this review. She was approachable and sweet and friendly. She didn't make me feel like i was forced or pressured and made this a great experience. She put me at ease and made me feel important. I made a purchase and maybe i didn't spend a ton of money like others, but it did not cause Tina to treat me any less important. I really hope someone sees this and acknowledges this because with so many people posting about negative experiences, there are people who are so enamored by the service received, i felt i had no choice but to share. Thank you Tina for being a wonderful representative of your store and a wonderful person in general.”

“In a world where everyone and their grandma thinks they’re a sneakerhead/fashion forward, it can really be an Olympic sport trying to find a decent consignment/resell shop in NYC, at least one that won’t flat out play in your face or give you that snobby condescending vibe. With that said, I came by the shop (pop-up) looking to sell a few pairs of shoes, although I had styles he wasn’t necessarily looking for, Andrew was still able to give me a fair & respectable offer I felt comfortable with. The overall vibe of the place is authentic and welcoming; I didn’t get the chance to browse thoroughly, but they have a pretty solid collection of novelty items as well.Would highly recommend.”
