We had rented the car after an accident.
Drove it for a few days.
When we requested it, we did ask for a large SUV and when we got there, they tried giving us a small one but allowed me to change to a minivan so no big deal.
The van was clean on the surface....but smelled like it was used in a Cheech and Chong movie or was used for smuggling weed....a 2 hour car rode with the windows open and it still smelled.”

“After bringing my 02 VW Eurovan to three other local shops for a mysterious fluid leak, (all refused to attempt to work on it) I was advised by an employee of O'Reilly's to bring it to Brown's because their mechanics are much better than most, he said.
They did a dye test and told me to drive it around and bring it back in a week which I did. The problem was a leak in the transmission which they promptly repaired and sent me on my way. It now glides from one gear to the next like a new transmission. I realize it's a 23 year old vehicle and most shops would rather not get involved for one reason or another; not this shop. Highly recommended.”
“Their automated system and the call I got the day before confirmed that a specific car was available. When I arrived, I was told that they did not have that car available and I had to take a crossover when I am used to sedans. That said, I ended up liking the car so it worked out in the end, but I think it was dumb that they said I could have my exact same car and then it suddenly wasn't available which made an anxiety inducing situation worse. The car itself seemed to be ok, but it smelled really bad. Whatever they clean them with is disgusting and I had to leave the windows down to air it out. Additionally when checking out I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to help. The employees seemed to help whoever was loudest and not who had been sitting there longest. I had to walk back up and express that I was waiting first before them as they tried to take people that just walked in. Employees were kind and courteous otherwise and it was a great help that it was attached to Gabe's collision shop which made it easy to get a rental when I had an accident.”
“I had to get an emergency, last minute walkup rental on a holiday weekend from Alamo because Avis Car Rental was giving me a rental with visible front end damage from an accident and they refused to change the vehicle for me even after speaking with the manager. So I cancelled that rental with Avis and went next door to Alamo Car Rental. Alamo was very understanding of my situation and got a vehicle for me. Alamo for the WIN. Thanks Alamo.”
“Downtown Main Street office in Buffalo NY is excellent, been renting from them since 2023, ran into a couple of minor issues but overall I recommend this location for excellent customer service and great customer service representatives. Special acknowledgement to Errol and the new guy Joe, I am sorry there's a few other outstanding customer service representatives but I can't recall their names but they have rendered excellent service as well.”
“Needed a rental because my car was in shop. Leah was so helpful and come to shop to get me. Sadly my car wasn't done in the time so had to extend the rental. Again Leah was great! So happy with enterprise and definitely will use again and tell family and friends to use.

“I rented a full size pickup here back in June 2024 and everything was handled quickly and professionally. The team did a full walkthrough and made sure I was happy with the Silverado prior to leaving. Upon returning the truck, the process was handled quickly and professionally as well.

Frank was great at getting me the information I needed and Debbie was awesome and fast at getting the needed insurance approval. Definitely will be going here for all my vehicle modifications from here on out!”
“Had a Altima while my car was getting worked on they had to switch it out because the windshield washer fluid would not work.
Called ahead said the replacement would be ready. Had to wait a bit but the staff and easy swap was good.”

“I often need to rent vehicles from this location and have yet to be let down. They have a wide variety of vehicles onsite. Tuesday, was there picking up a vehicle for work travel and was able to witness the outstanding customer service provided in a very high stress interaction. The associate politely educated and humored the customer although from what I witnessed, the customer was wrong. I could appreciate the associate keeping his cool and adhering to company policy without being rude or condescending.”
“I like this location. The manager came outside to assist me because I had mobility issues and didn't have my walker that day. She was very pleasant to work with along with the other woman that I dealt with and showed no disability discrimination.I would recommend Budget/Avis nothing but good experiences during my rental process.”

“This is my go to spot for rentals. I hate the air port and other spots. Bruce is always very professional greets you when you walk in…makes for a good easy experience. Can’t forget about Vinny and Frank, they also make the rental experience an easy one and have always been helpful with any problems if any. The young man who cleans out the cars James is also very nice. The Whole Main Street team is awsome. Iv seen reviews of people saying they are rude I’m sure it was definitely the customer who was rude. IV NEVER HAD AN ISSSUE AND IV BEEN RENTING CARS FROM THIS LOCTION OVER 10 yrs. More frequently recently and I’ll send anyone their way. You can’t be rude to people in customer service and expect customer service to not be rude back, the customer isn’t always right!”

“I never use the same car rental agency for obvious reasons, but the level of customer service at this location may make me change my patterns. I rented a very large, yet totally nondescript vehicle with more than enough room for my special cargo. This vehicle was equipped with “weather tec” floor mats that really came in handy. I highly recommend”

“Rental process was easy. I was able to book online and pick it up no problem. I would have given 5 starts but the first car I was given reeked so hard of weed that there was no way I was going to be able to drive it. They seemed to have no clue, but probably because the office smelled like it also. They switched the car out and it was fine.”
