“My partner and I stayed here for 3 days & 2 nights. The price was great for the value, considering you get a kitchen and king bed. It was my partners birthday and Joey (with the bowtie) made this experience absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. I have never had such amazing customer service, you can tell he really cares about people and loves his job, he even gave my partner a gift for his birthday. The hotel has a hot tub, a pool, a lovely gym, laundry service, office area for use, fireplace and TV downstairs also for use. Breakfast options are served till 11am (better than most hotels) and are eggs, sausages, waffles, fruit salad bar, yogurt, cereal, granola, tea, coffee, muffins, bagels, etc. I know they also occasionally have dinner events where you get to socialize and have dinner (I think the day we left it was a vegetarian chili and meat chili day). The hotel is a 2 min walk to Trader Joe's and the mall is right across the same plaza. There are so many good places near by to eat, shop, and do activities, truly a PRIME location. Overall, a lovely hotel, and 12pm checkout is super nice. I really had a great experience here, I normally book Airbnbs but this hotel has raised my standards for hotels, I will definitely be back!”

“Been here before. Will go back again. Very nice clean place. Eat in bar grill restaurant on site. Always with a good crowd and great staff. Unique style with a large courtyard on the interior of the hotel. Always well kept and always hosting some sort of event. Close to everything right next to the highway and Wolf Road.”

“Had a fabulous stay, albeit short (just one night), and plan to stay here again in the future. Staff were very helpful, friendly, and communicative from the time of making the reservation to the moment we left. I loved the house and the vibe, the night we were there was drizzly and a wee bit foggy, reminded me of the movie Gaslight :) And the peach tart at breakfast was braw!”

“What a cute country getaway! I was so thrilled to find this bed and breakfast, last minute, for a quick family trip upstate. Anna Maria was super accommodating and very kind. The inn is so quaint and like taking a step back in time - in the best way! The beds were very comfortable, we had a private en suite bathroom and flat screen television. No breakfast unfortunately due to COVID reasons. The restaurant on site, La Perla, was fantastic for dinner. You may wait a bit on Friday nights, but the food was totally worth the wait! True Italian cuisine. On the second night, we tried a wood fired pizza and it did not disappoint! After two long days of helping my sister move and paint her new house in Troy, Gregory House was a comfortable and lovely place to feed our bellies and lay our heads! Sending thanks and well wishes to Anna Maria and her husband and son (the chefs) and your excellent waitstaff, including Stephanie and Jordan!”

“Romantic atmosphere. Bar tenders wonderful. Foods perfect. And the beds- yah! Nice place to relax and get away for a night or 2 maybe 3. Walking distance from shopping district and restaurants. And if you get the chance drive through the Kosciuszko Bridge. 5* get ”

“This is a review of only the cocktail lounge. Friends from out of town were staying in the carriage house behind the hotel and we agreed to gather in the lounge for a drink or two.The building itself is impressive, although maybe not quite as impressive as the castle-looking building next door. Our party of seven settled in at the bar as there otherwise did not seem to be a large enough table for all of us to gather around in either the main lounge area or a small room off to the side. The dark wood paneled walls, large fireplace, assortment of easy chairs, couches, and high desktop table gave off a feeling of warmth and welcoming. The friendly bartender introduced herself (sorry I've forgotten her name) and informed us that spirit-wise, the bar was capable of preparing the standard, traditional drinks like Manhattans, martinis, etc. All beers were poured from cans, and at my request, she recited the names of about six that were available. I don't believe anyone in our party inquired about the wines that were available. The building simply calls out for an explanation of its history. Upon our request, the bartender offered to provide either the "brief" or "full" option. We requested the full history. She was obviously well up to the task. You would be amazed at the variety of things you could learn here. Just to touch on a few key topics that were mentioned, consider Alexander Hamilton's wife, puffed rice, Bab-o cleanser (cue up the jingle), Bishop Gibbons, and an orthopedic surgeon. I don't know what the normal food arrangements are in the Lounge. I'm guessing that our out-of-town hosts requested some snacks for us as a few bowls appeared with mixed nuts, crackers and cheese, fresh grapes, humus, and warm pretzel/croissant rolls, and a plate of prosciutto wrapped cream cheese.Overall, the atmosphere here is simply friendly and inviting. I think it will become an occasional gathering place for our local friends when looking for a place that is quiet and relaxing.”

“I liked the concept of the Tru hotel. However, I thought the towels were thin for a Hilton brand, I could easily hear others in nearby rooms and the bed frames are too big. I bumped my leg on the corner of the bed frame 3 times in 1 night.Very convenient shuttle to the airport.”

“I recently had a stay at this hotel and had an issue with a reservation. I spoke with Hazel at the front desk and she helped me with outstanding service and made me feel at ease because she clearly knew what she was doing. At the end of it all Hazel had everything fixed and I thanked her very much.”

“Loved it! Needed a good value hotel fast. This far exceeded expectations. It has a full pool and one of the best-stocked fitness centers of any hotel of similar price. It's continental breakfast was stocked and well-arranged. Clean rooms and safe.”

“I attended an evening event at Hotel Trilogy. The staff are incredibly accommodating. We also happened to meet the owner, Joe, who is so kind. This made our experience even better.”

“Stayed here for the night and enjoyed my stay. For anyone looking to stay here it's a building built in 1884 and don't expect perfection. If you love old buildings you will love this place. If I ever need accomodations in Albany again I would not hesitate booking at this establishment. For anyone traveling via Amtrak the 114 bus from Rensellear station stops literally 600 feet from this place so unless you have lots of luggage public transportation is readily available.”

“Recently stayed at this hotel when I visited Albany for a funeral and I could only get a few hotels and this one is really good, my room was clean, the staff was really nice especially the night service staff. I’ll definitely be staying here next time I come back ”

“Our hotel room was very nice we liked the shower head it had multiple settings and was perfect for all of us we all have a different water pressure preference. There was a microwave and fridge in the room. The beds were comfortable. Not a fan of carpet floors.Breakfast was amazing! They had strawberry and regular waffles with strawberry sauce and whipped topping, eggs, sausage,.... all kinds of choices example yogurt bread cereal...The front dest agent told me that laundry takes 20 mins to wash 40 dry and nope it took 3 hrs I could've brought my clothes to a laundromat and spent less money and my clothes would've been done in at most an hr and a half!We had an issue with the ice machine... I reported it to the manager and he got maintenance on it.The pool was freezing and the hot tub wasn't hot ... the water was turned off. The front desk turned on the water and jets but the hot tub jets were very weak ... poor water pressure.”

“When I moved to the upstate/capital city area several months ago, The Garden Inn was a place that I stayed at while I got settled into the area. It was a great way to start out my journey in my new city. Thank you Hilton!”

“Clean room, wifi, free breakfast friendly personal and even tho it does need a bit of update for the price you really cannot complain. The coffee, tea, infused water no matter what time was a nice touch not to mention how sweet to offer chunky monkey brownie. So overall for a short weekend stay it worked for us.”

“Love the fact that there is an efficiency motel that is reasonable with their pricing and can accommodate so many people that have such a hard time getting into a regular apartment. I am very pleased with this place. Thank you!”

“This is my number one choice when staying overnight in Albany for work. I am so happy I found them. The rooms are clean and the front desk people are so nice. Most importantly its a great price!! For just one person looking for somewhere safe and clean to sleep its great. Bed is comfortable. I have never had any reason to not stay here again!! Highly reccomend!I am confused by the negative reviews especially the ones that mention the quality of breakfast. For the price i am shocked they even offer anything and they do it becuase it is NICE. I have stayed at other similiarly priced hotels in the area that actually were sketchy and dirty. This place is great. When you are paying half the price maybe people should try being more grateful that they even offer a hotel of this quality in their budget instead of just complaining about it. You can tell the people who own it are trying to give you a comfortable stay and I appreciate it. Rant over. Thank you guys for many, many clean and bugdet friendly stays!!!!”

“I had a great experience. I booked a single king room for a reasonable rate and when I got there it included a whirlpool tub which was absolutely lovely. Didnt use the pool but it looked very nice. Room was clean and accessible, service was good, and there was high value for the price. Only low point was the weak breakfast, but there is an IHOP on the same property so not so bad.”

“Well is nothing like their website picture... No gym, no good tv signal, blankets had stains, no hot tub, no good pool, no good breakfast or hot breakfast and no sofa in the room. The room number was hand maid with a pencil. No fire pit( it was painted rocks insted of a fire pit) Rooms were dark, and it felt like walking into a cave. Not a good experience. Is old and don't smell good. It sad cause I hoped my friend would enjoy her bday but she and my kids were disappointed ?. It looked like a cheap 3rd world country motel. Never again.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Motel 6 during my business trip, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly smile from the front desk staff. It instantly made me feel welcomed and at home. The room I stayed in was incredibly clean, well-organized, and had a cozy atmosphere. Everything was in place, and the attention to detail was truly impressive. The comfortable bed and plush pillows ensured a great night's sleep, which was much needed after a long day of work. One thing that stood out to me was the motel's convenient location. It was ideally situated near major highways and had easy access to local attractions and dining options. This made it incredibly convenient for me to explore the city during my free time. Additionally, ample parking space was available, offering peace of mind for those traveling by car.Throughout my stay, I experienced exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to assist me with any queries or requests, ensuring that I had a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Their warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness truly made a difference and left a lasting impression. The motel also had great amenities to offer. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful way to start the day, with a variety of options available to suit different tastes. The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, allowing me to stay connected and productive throughout my stay. I also appreciated the convenience of the on-site laundry facilities, which came in handy during my extended stay.Overall, my stay at the Motel 6 was outstanding. It provided me with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. From the excellent customer service to the clean and cozy accommodations, I would highly recommend this motel to anyone seeking a convenient, affordable, and welcoming place to stay. “I stayed at this Hilton recently at the last minute. My family, who I normally stay with when I visit, came down with Covid & notified me while I was driving up to the area and I needed a hotel the last minute. Donna was an absolute angel: so helpful & lovely to me in my predicament. She made the entire experience so easy & was kind and understanding. Are the rooms in need of some upkeep? Yes, but while I was there some rooms were undergoing construction. My room was comfortable & spacious. The staff made up for the less than 5 star rooms. Hopefully I don’t need a hotel next trip, but if i did I’d book again. Thank you Donna!”

“My friend and I had an amazing stay here. Best motel I’ve been. The room is super clean and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The staff were friendly and we had a great chat. If I’m ever around I’m certainly staying again.”

“Great place to stay for a weekend conference. Suggestions to be better: room service 24/7, healthier snacks in the vending machines and lobby area. Other than that the staff people were friendly, professional and accommodating.”

“I've been staying here 2 months now and it's actually not that bad as people post. They're just stingy. On the other hand; one of the housekeepers here by the name Christy does an amazing job on EVERY room she works on and we can't stop raving the front desk about her work ethic. Beds folded perfectly tight, clean sheets and pillows, always smiling and helping anyone that needs it; regardless of having almost every room here to work on with such a short amount of time. I've never walked into a "2 star" motel that smelled like heaven first foot into the door like I have with this Motel 6 location. give this woman a raise and I'm glad to see this location improving.”
