18 Lake Simond Rd, Tupper LakeOur dog was misdiagnosed by another vet clinic and treated for two weeks for the wrong thing. Lakeside knew immediately what she had but unfortunately she was too far gone. Great care and compassion was shown as she was released from her misery.
The year before we threw ourselves on their mercy at closing time when our girl cut a tendon on trash someone had discarded in the woods. The operation to repair the severed tendon was incredibly successful— full use, no limp or disability. Our hometown vets were very impressed.
We have great trust and confidence in this vet.

11 Balsam St, Tupper LakeWhat a fantastic place to spend an evening! Their space is huge, with lots of tables and a long bar if you prefer that. The rustic decorations makes it feel homey, and the best part is you order your drinks from the QR code at the table and they magically appear. The lack of traditional waiter service also means you feel free to stay and linger as long as you like. The drinks on offer were all fantastic. My husband tried a flight of their brewed beer, and I enjoyed a flight of ciders. Everything not brewed by them is sourced from NY companies. They do not serve food here, but sponsor several food trucks just outside, and you are welcome to eat at the table. We will definitely be back!

There was a guy playing guitar over in the corner and I couldn't have had a better time.

Little Italy
146 Park St, Tupper LakeGreat restaurant, friendly staff, good food! Unfortunately they seemed to have closed their Tupper Lake shop this year (2025). We are disappointed, they were our Wednesday lunch date each week! We hope they open again!
