“This is a nice supermarket. It has mainly everything I need. I am so grateful to have both the Guilderland and Voorheesville location close by to my house.
My only complaint that I have is I wish the bakery had more to offer and I noticed the bakery there doesn't even have a counter.
I was even surprised to see a lobster tank there too. Staff there are great and very helpful.”

Kid-friendliness: They have a small kids menu. Our 5 year old who is picky loved the rice and her “just” chicken and tortilla taco.”
“I liked this small neighborhood store. They have some unusual groceries, and some of the more common things. Among the unusual things, they had New. Skete Nun's delicious cheesecakes!!! All that I know of is that the New Skete Nun's cheesecakes are very very expensive!! I couldn't find how much it would cost, so I have to go back there sometime. It would have been nice if the store sold them by the slice??? I bought some of the deli's chicken salad and a big slice of peach pie!!! Both were quite yummy!!! See you soon.”

“The reward program gives you coupons based on what you buy, and each quarter, you get a reward based on how much you spend. It's easy to clip the coupons and use them when checking out. The store has excellent cuts of meat and I prefer the meat here over market 32. The store can get busy, resulting in sale items not being in stock.”

“I always enjoy shopping at this Price Rite location. The store is well-stocked, organized, and offers great value for families. I was especially impressed to find Chifleton Toston Chips and Chifleton Plantain Jars available here.
The Toston Chips are perfectly crunchy, fresh, and authentic—great for snacking or pairing with dips. The Plantain Jars are a unique product you don’t find in many supermarkets, and they’re excellent for both home use and family gatherings. It’s clear the store puts effort into carrying high-quality, culturally diverse products that customers love.

“Look in like this gas station I have been going to it since I was a kid but today was something diffent. I go there to oay for gas for my mower and I stick my card in to pay and I take the nozzle out and I do my thing and pump the gas and stuff so then I put it back and stuff and I was going to pull my car up to go inside to pay for it but then a man comes out and starts harassing me to go pay for it. Like I worked in customer service and serving the people but this was so un called for and then I go in and as im outting my card in to lay the machine keeps malfunctioning and the guys not doing anything about it except staring at me. Like hello!!!! Help!!!!!!!!! But I finally paid for it and left, just, its sad to be harassed like that after going there for so long.”

“So the review before mine, saying that the 'dark haired Spanish girl' hasn't been there and it's been a mess since, I do agree that she worked very diligently and is very good at keeping a wild and crazy store going. I hope she is doing well because she has helped me many times. One time, years ago my wallet fell out of my pocket in the store and she put it in the safe in case I came back for it. I had just cashed a check and had several hundred dollars of cash in it. I was very grateful because I wouldn't have even blamed anyone for taking it or the wallet being there with the cash gone. But everything was still there. Now that's a good employee. There was a man in there too who was aware of the situation and I really was full of respect and gratitude, I appreciate knowing that good people like them are in our communities. When I drive by at9-10pm on my way home from work, if the lights are still on in there I picture them in there doing their best to get the store closed and ready for the morning shifts.
There's an older woman in the store that I don't particularly enjoy because I find her to be loud, boisterous and smells like stale smoke and clipped cigarettes. She will announce loudly that she can't get anything done and is not even supposed to be on register. Or that she didn't take a break and should have left hours ago... If her time management is out of control like that, it makes me think that she should adhere to the work she is assigned and not just fumble around assigning blame and making everyone else stress out over it. If she's not getting the work done then hmmm maybe, just maybe? They might hire another person or flex someone else in to give the store some reprieve. I'm sure she's a good worker in other regards. She doesn't make me feel unwelcomed or anything like other customers have reported, she's just stressed and frazzled. It's a clear indication that she needs help in there. I find it's unfair to compare the employees to one another. They are totally different people with different idiosyncrasies.
There is a newer female employee in the store lately who is fast, efficient, detail oriented and really has combed through the aisles to remove expired products and organize the mess so the items are actually in the correct spots. A lot of times the store can't keep track of the inventory if they have a popular product that is behind an unpopular one. They won't get more of an item that has been displaced and still in the store or stolen. If they sell something then that can be replenished. I've noticed some products that they are supposed to carry but never have in stock are starting to be in stock again in the last couple of months which I am very grateful for. It's a difficult job. Please respect the workers in there even if you're at odds with them or having negative interactions.
I hope people realize that their job is tiresome and not always rewarding. They are usually understaffed but mostly willing to help. They do put the customer needs ahead of their own so be sure to thank them and remember that they are doing their job.”
“I pulled a doozy and only packed just enough of my medication for my trip when I was unexpectedly stranded in NY for an extended period. The pharmacist at Hannaford was so helpful and filled my medications. She even helped me get them at a discounted price without having to file through my insurance since going through that process would have been extremely grueling with needing prior authorization, etc. I am so thankful for the grace given and help and understanding received since these are medications that are necessary to prevent seizures. We need more pharmacies like this. <3”

“This was my first time here. The staff are friendly. The produce is the best I have found in the area so far as far as traditional grocery stores go. Will come back again.
Edit: after coming back here I do find their bread and bagel options lacking, unless you're willing to spend for the premium options they have. Also, some deli meats are tastier than others.”
