“Most days, I find myself in need of a trinket. Or in need of a smiling face. Both of these needs are always met upon visit to instant karma. I have never had the honor of being in the presence of such awesome people all in one place. My Mom was always Santa growing up. Always the birthday person. The gift giver. Her gifts always mean something. For the last 5 years, I've been able to be that gift giver for her. Her home is decorated with trinkets and odds n ends from instant. Not to mention the awesome little animal stone carvings that make for a perfect gift to give friends. I can't say enough good things about the business and the people there. Brick and mortar don't make a business, the people you hire do.
You've got some of the greatest humans on earth working there. Along with the coolest trinkets, shirts, costume jewelry, and all of the ingredients to make a tacky home a little bit more spiffy.
It's been an honor as a patron and regular. As someone who's lived in Asheville for generations, an Instant Karma location makes every neighborhood that much better.”

“Went in on a whim today because my knock off’s ripped. the man who helped me was AMAZING. i unfortunately did not catch his name but he had very cool tattoos, long hair and gaged ears. i was a huge fan of him. i kept picking shoes that didnt match my size and he would go back and forth from the back to from to help me. he was the main reason i bought 2 pairs and not just one. and the recommendation for the comfort vans was top notch omg im obsessed. definitely check this location out. 10/10”
“Was visiting from North Florida for few days, (stayed in Marshall, N.C.), and my significant other and I wanted to get some souvenirs for our trip up to North Carolina. Looked up few places locally and came across Moonlight Makers. It sounded interesting and wanted to check it out. It was somewhat difficult to find, but easy to walk to from parking garage across the street... Once arriving, it was a very nice store or establishment, and had many items locally made, and what seemed like nice variety or selection of goods or items to choose from. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was wonderful! We browsed for little bit, and our cashier was very nice also. Hope to visit Asheville again soon, and thank you all for a great experience!”

“Very easy to find. Nice new store with lots of merchandise. Does indeed carry sizes up to 3x. Staff is friendly and has one assigned to dressing rooms to help you with sizes. They are not pushy at all... Just helpful. I will stop in again when in Asheville.”

Specifically, the staff is educated and in touch with current conditions and fly selections in the greater WNC area, and are always willing to chat. Recently I got a little bit emotional and testy with an employee (didn’t know it at the time but was, indeed, the manger lol) who handled my temper better than I would have if I were in his shoes. “I went to this store in desperate need of business clothes. I had walked around the store for a while when a saleswoman, Megan, asked my size. She was very friendly and pointed and brought me to the correct section. She asked me what I was looking for and fitted me to ensure I was wearing the correct size. For the entirety of my visit, Megan was taking clothes and putting them back if they didn't work for me, bringing me clothes and sizes that would fit or that she thought would meet my needs, and giving me her thoughts on the way the clothes fit. She made sure I was well taken care of, answered every question I had, addressed all of my concerns knowledgeably, and served us other guests in the process. Megan was skilled, confident, and honest as she helped me with anything I needed. I found a couple of outfits with her amazing help. ATF has gained another loyal customer!”

Now the greeting when you walk in, nonexistent, there’s no smiling faces ,they act as if they doing you a favor.. staff been friendly would be an A+. But everyone runs their business differently. “We bought from this store on our vacation for my daughter’s birthday a Kendra Scott necklace set. When we got home the next day, the stone fell out and she was devastated so I tried taking it to Kendra Scott store in our hometown and they wouldn’t help us at all. They said they couldn’t replace, repair or give credit towards anything although I had all the pieces and the receipt showing I had bought it 48 hours before, and they directed me to the boutique to resolve. I called Lou Lou and they all were amazing and so apologetic, and did an amazing job making it right for the sake of standing by an item from their store even though Kendra Scott should’ve been the one to resolve an issue with their product.
