“2/21/25 I wrote the original post several years ago. Our opinion has not changed. If anything, the store has gotten better and has more stuff.

Biggest and best supplied Asian store that we are aware of in Jacksonville. We go for the Korean groceries. Pretty good fresh and frozen food and produce.”
“Phenomenal little store with all of the stuff we needed to make our Ramen dinner. A nice addition was the onigiri that we as there and the gentlemen running the store warmed up nicely. Very nice owner and clean, my new go to store for asian supplies now!”
“My favorite place to shop for meat and produce! The commissary prices for meat and produce are so much cheaper than out in town and the quality of meat and produce is good too. With that being said, I do however find that their dairy products and bread are more expensive than Walmart.
The employees here are friendly and you can tell they genuinely enjoy their work place and take pride in the cleanliness of their store. I come here for those reasons. Keep up the great work!”
“Very nice store, but the main reason I’m giving them a 5-star is because today a man had a massive seizure in the store and both the Manager and Assistant Manager responded quickly, calmly and compassionately! They were amazing and so were the women in the make with the man! It was wonderful to see such good samaritans helping a stranger in crisis.”

Beats Walmart by light-years on price quality service and eye appeal. Walmart prices can't beat the MVP prices at Food Lion and buy 1 get one free specials.”

Unfortunately the app is confusing. I open the food lion app and started my shopping list, but when I was ready to check out, I was sent to food lion go. But my list was gone.

“I was not having a good day today until I went to this store. Pam, the sales lady greeted me like an old lost friend. Her smile was like sunshine in an otherwise dreary day! The service she provided was above and beyond. All the ladies there are good hardworking people, but Pam's service was superb today. I recommend this store especially if you are having a bad day!!!”
“Very polite and willing to help you see what you need or want. The store generally has most of the expected items anyone would need or just want. Very close to other neighboring housing developments. And since it’s closer, some of the items’ prices are a little higher than usual or expected, but the quantity of some of the items are worth it because of the size amount.”
“One of 3 dollar generals in sneads ferry, I feel like this one is more beach oriented toward the summer months than the other locations in the ferry. If its sold out of what you need because its busy dont worry check out the other 2 stores and there you should find what your looking for.”

“My favorite dollar general. The employees have the job of stocking as well as running the register and they do a wonderful job of getting to the front as soon as a customer steps up to the counter. These employees work hard and make for such a wonderful shopping experience.”
“I go in this DG all the time bc it's 5 mins from my house and they are always busy. Never enough staff so those ladies work so hard! I have had ppl tell me how rude customers were to the cashier and I just want to say that for how few ppl they have and all the customers to help, they do great and dont let me be in line and hear anyone cursing or being rude to them bc they dont get paid enough to deal with that ignorance. They may not say anything but I can assure you I will. Spread love, not negativity. Im a kind person that cares about everyone but I also dont have any problem calling out wrong so BE NICE OR STAY HOME so nobody goes home with a headache, best scenario!”
“Everything's good except the pharmacy seems to be overwhelmed if you have more than one script to fill when you call it in be specific and make sure that they fill all of them if not they will fill what they want and when you go to pick it up you'll have to wait about an hour for them to fix what they forgot to do so if your trying to save time I wouldn't recommend”

“This place is great for picking up last minutes and house cleaning products kind toys and clothing it has some of everything including groceries. Definitely worth stopping and wondering thru.”
“Qhen I used to live on this side of town this was always my stop in place to get gas and snacks. The gas was always alittle cheaper here than most other places. The customer service reps were always friendly and some of them became like family memebers. Unfortunately its on the other sside of town from where I currently live but I still drop in every once and awhile to catch up and take advantage of lower gas rates.”

“Wonderful staff and good prices. Also you can get a 44oz drink for .79. This circle k is placed perfectly for people coming from base or headed from the beach. Don't forget to get the circle app it really does have good deals including tobacco products.”

“It’s great that its tax free but the fruits & vegetables need to improve. They are not fresh and are pricey to competitors. A lime is .79 cents each...serious? Also don’t expect to find any exotic fruits or vegetables here. Public and Lowes are my top places for this. The Munster cheese next to the lobsters had mold so always double. Aug 1, 2022 update! They have an atm on site as well & now offer pick up for items.”
