“Lowes Foods is one of my favorite grocery stores because it offers a clean, well organized shopping experience with an excellent selection of fresh products. Whether I am shopping for groceries, fresh produce, meats, bakery items, or everyday essentials, I can usually find everything I need in one stop.
The quality of the food is outstanding, especially the fresh produce, meat department, and bakery. Everything is well stocked, and it is clear that the store takes pride in maintaining high standards.
The staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Employees are easy to find when you need assistance, and they are happy to answer questions or help locate items. That level of customer service makes shopping here even more enjoyable.
The store is clean, the aisles are easy to navigate, and the overall atmosphere is inviting. Shopping at Lowes Foods is always a pleasant experience, and the quality of both the products and the service keeps me coming back.
If you are looking for a grocery store with excellent customer service, high quality products, and a great shopping experience, I highly recommend Lowes Foods.”

Biggest and best supplied Asian store that we are aware of in Jacksonville. We go for the Korean groceries. Pretty good fresh and frozen food and produce.”
“I gotta say, the crew in the front are so helpful. I still haven’t learned names, but I know the ones that are normally there (around 9am) when I go, are always looking out to see if I might need assistance.
They’re is one lady who always assists me clarify the various sales, especially BOGO, and just overall is there if you need them. She always keeps a watchful eye and is right at the front. If she or Food Lion Gum Branch reads this, “thank you Ma’am!” You, the other staff and the store itself is probably why I feel so welcomed shopping there.
It’s a lot more calm than Walmart of course and it’s more convenient than Aldi. The prices might be a little bit more but it’s definitely less than going to Publix or Lowe’s foods.
Although as you can see in the pictures every once in a while, those “manager special’s” are a really good price. Some exotic fruits may not be as cheap, but that’s just everywhere here as you can see as well.
It’s like the “middle of the road” grocery store that has great customer service, is clean and peaceful. I’ll take that over chaos (or employees who don’t help) and any day.
Overall just well managed, which is evident based off how the team operates on a daily basis.”
“Food Lion in Atlantic Beach is the cleanest grocery store I have ever shopped ans that includes any of the stores I managed in my career. Always well stocked even with the heavy summer tourists traffic.”

“My favorite place to shop for meat and produce! The commissary prices for meat and produce are so much cheaper than out in town and the quality of meat and produce is good too. With that being said, I do however find that their dairy products and bread are more expensive than Walmart.
The employees here are friendly and you can tell they genuinely enjoy their work place and take pride in the cleanliness of their store. I come here for those reasons. Keep up the great work!”
“Autumn was a lot of help today! She saw i was struggling and came over to save the day! I had a big order, she went and grabbed another cart and proceeded to put my groceries in my cart for me, that was great courage and a great deal of outside the box thinking to help out today! “Great little grocery store! Employees are very friendly and helpful. Clean and stocked. Best grocery store I’ve been to for awhile. The prices are quite competitive and the produce is always great looking and mostly local. Even though it’s a smaller store they always have what we need or want. Love the bakery! Their cakes are the best!”
“Love Aldi overall with one exception - processed meats. Many are off with taste or texture or too salty. Chicken breast slices overground to point of being unrecognizable. Beef sausage is mostly missing. I'd say prices for unprocessed meat are only on par with other stores.
Aldi's probably accounts for half of our food purchases and still a favorite vs the big box thingy.”

“I ordered pick up while I was visiting from out of state and love the convenience of being able to order online and pick up. I offered to drive to the front of the store since it was raining but the rep said it was not a problem to bring it to my car. Very courteous and friendly. I had no issues with my order.”

“My regular place for most items except for meats---theirs are fine and I've had them before , but I personally prefer a place with a meat department..The best feature is not having to travel through other non necessary departments when I only want food items...They do have a small area for other household, pet , pharmacy and auto items but very limited..”
“Everything's good except the pharmacy seems to be overwhelmed if you have more than one script to fill when you call it in be specific and make sure that they fill all of them if not they will fill what they want and when you go to pick it up you'll have to wait about an hour for them to fix what they forgot to do so if your trying to save time I wouldn't recommend”

“I go in this DG all the time bc it's 5 mins from my house and they are always busy. Never enough staff so those ladies work so hard! I have had ppl tell me how rude customers were to the cashier and I just want to say that for how few ppl they have and all the customers to help, they do great and dont let me be in line and hear anyone cursing or being rude to them bc they dont get paid enough to deal with that ignorance. They may not say anything but I can assure you I will. Spread love, not negativity. Im a kind person that cares about everyone but I also dont have any problem calling out wrong so BE NICE OR STAY HOME so nobody goes home with a headache, best scenario!”

“Qhen I used to live on this side of town this was always my stop in place to get gas and snacks. The gas was always alittle cheaper here than most other places. The customer service reps were always friendly and some of them became like family memebers. Unfortunately its on the other sside of town from where I currently live but I still drop in every once and awhile to catch up and take advantage of lower gas rates.”
