“These ladies are lovely!! My 18 yr old daughter and I went there on a whim last week to shop for wigs after her recent hair loss due to cancer. We interrupted their lunch break but they never once hesitated to help us - three of them invested time with us, including the boutique owner. They assisted us with picking out a perfect wig and even billed our insurance. We received the wig today and it is GORGEOUS! Glenda was so FUN, all while helping my girl gain so much confidence with her new ‘do. We enjoyed our experience with Unique Boutique and highly recommend them for hair prosthesis.”

“Supportive and friendly staff!! Shanice (sha-niece) was so nice, patient, and super friendly. She had to bring out more than 10 pairs of shoes for 3 people, and was smiling the entire time. She was knowledgeable about the different model of shoes, as well as the history and culture of the company. Because I wanted a very specific shoe type/color, she brought me multiple options trying to accommodate my needs. Would definitely go back if I'm in back in town! My home girl Shanice deserves a raise - until I met her, I never really considered Allbirds as an option ?”

“This is such a cute and vibrant boutique that I'd 100% recommend! It's located in South End among tons of other small local businesses and is very easy to access and find street parking. (Being that I'm new to the city) I chit chatted with the owner, and she was beyond sweet and personable; she helped me to find what I wanted in the boutique and also, gave me some general insight to South End and Charlotte! There was a good selection of clothing and accessory items that could meet your needs for daytime-chic or more nightlife sexy, lol. I purchased a pair of earrings and some super comfy joggers. I believe that the prices were reasonable for boutique-quality items and convenience; if I had an event and was last minute with finding and outfit, I'd feel very comfortable running in Five13 and grabbing some seperates. I loved to see a thriving black-owned small business in Charlottle and will definitely be back to support (and find a cute outfit!).”

“I was in today to pick up a hat I purchased a week ago that needed to be reshaped. I handed my ticket over and when she brought out the hat it was the wrong one. It was a bit frustrating after 15 mins of looking my hat wasn't found. The manager, Brian handled this situation way beyond what I was expecting. He took customer service to a new level. Instead of offering me a refund, a new hat, or a discount for a future purchase, none of those would have solved the problem of my missing hat that took me over an hour to find the right one. Brian called a different store and they had it in stock in my size. He drove to pick it up, drove back to the E. Independence store, reshaped it to my liking and personally delivered to my home. This was my first time buying something at this store and from this encounter I can tell they value the customers and want to have recurrent customers despite an oversight. Thanks for the great service.”

They were out of my size but she pulled the dress off the mannequin just so I could try it on! So many unique pieces and wonderful atmosphere and customer service I will be back for sure!!!”
