It was the butt crack of dawn and the sun was just coming up when we pulled into the parking lot. We were greeted by an amazing waitress by the name
Oh Shelia. She was sassy, made us laugh, and was super attentive to us and our request. The food was delicious, fair priced, and came out fast. All round a great experience! We will definitely be back next time we are in the mountains!

1681 Acquoni Rd, CherokeeAfter spending a few days in July/August we planned to come back and spend a few days at Christmas. One definite stop on our time in Bryson City, NC was to pop over to Cherokee and eat at El Cajelito. Of course walking in all staff greets you and you are seated right away. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone is enjoying time spent while eating. I got the same lunch special number as I did before #8 while hubby got lunch special #10. Prices are reasonable and food is delicious. I hands down recommend this place to everyone passing through Cherokee.
