An old country store where you can buy gas , bread Snickers, coffee, pickled eggs, morning biscuits, a pickle, bubble gum, drinks fishing supplies, an authentic Colletsville shirt in hats, community calendar, Moon Pies, tater chips, a knife, jerky, pack of crackers, pizza for lunch and or supper or breakfast if you'd aks real nice, Vienna sausages and muffins. If they ain't got , you didn't need it aryways.Nice built on outhouses for when you can't drive another lick. River runs behind the store so you fish or get your feet wet. Be sure n stop there when going to Mortimer, Globe, Brown MTN, 181, Lenoir or Blowing Rock the back ways in. Gret atmosphere.”

“What a great place hidden away in the mountains! I highly recommend you make the trip if you are looking for something to do. Picturesque scenery going through the mountains. The store has a good selection of snacks and their museum of history for the area has amazing photos and actual equipment from what was used to get through daily life in the past. Highly recommend!”
