From the moment we walked in, Noah was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. He made the whole experience feel so much more personal than just stopping in for ice cream. He was patient while we decided what we wanted, answered all of our questions, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. You could genuinely tell that he cared about making sure we had a good experience. Noah is the kind of employee who makes people want to come back not just because the ice cream is amazing, but because of the service.He deserves to be recognized for how kind, hardworking, and attentive he was.Definitely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had!

Habibi Lebanon Bar & Grill

The proprietor was our server, and was super friendly, super attentive, and full of great stories and great recommendations. We started with the cauliflower arnabete mekle -- delicious -- and the sambousik sujik & cheese, which was crazy good.
Entrees were two lamb shwarma and one lamb shank. All received rave reviews, and all were large portions with plenty to take home for lunch the next day.
The room was apparently once a bistro with some British roots, some of which are still inside. We ate outdoors on the porch and enjoyed the fall air...
They have a full bar and nice list of specialty cocktails; our group had glasses of the Pinot Grigio and of the white blend (apparently from Lebanon), both of which were quite good.
Five stars for the fabulous service and advice...and for the authenticity of the food, which was really terrific. Such a pleasant change of pace from some the usual fare in this neck of the woods -- with a pleasant and attentive owner to go with it
Will definitely be back; recommend strongly.

I love the changing leaves and cooler temperatures, but the very best part is the welcoming back of Souper Saturday at Carburritos!!! Each and every week a new soup is prepared from scratch. Each soup is so flavorful and packed with ingredients that it's literally the main course. I love, love soup! Never, ever have I had a bowl of soup anywhere else that doesn't leave me wishing I had a grilled cheese to call it a meal. I look forward to the post on either Facebook or instagram each Saturday morning to see how they are going to reinvent my favorite meal once again. I especially like that the soups are commonly made so that you can add a protein if desired at a moments notice. This works well, especially when we sometimes meet our friends for dinner that have dietary restrictions. If you love soup as much as me, you must absolutely race to Carburritos each and every Saturday through the Fall and Winter!

128 S Main St, DavidsonStopped in on a Friday afternoon for a quick pick me up. Small line, only about 4 minutes to get my coffee. Some set up going on outside for a market type event but otherwise pretty quiet. Only one person sitting inside downstairs, likely because it was so beautiful outside. My espresso was a bit bland and not too hot. I asked for double (twice) but was charged for and received a single. Lemon berry scone was a bit undersized, but this was acknowledged by the cashier and he gave me a small discount without asking. Just a really nice atmosphere, inside and out. As always the staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful to all 7 patrons I encountered.

The owners are onsite and make you feel like family, they truly go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the steak with chimichurri, and it was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The complimentary chips and salsa were hands down some of the best I've ever had,I could have made a meal out of them! The service was fast, friendly, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is vibrant, comfortable, and perfect whether you're out for a casual lunch or dinner with friends and family. Plus, parking is easy, which is always a bonus when visiting downtown Davidson. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Mestizo is a must-visit. I will definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend!
