“Great experience! The farm emailed me with details prior to the event reminding about things like bringing a towel for goat yoga, avoiding jewelry or skin products that aren’t safe for animals, etc. There is a blue painted sign at the corner of the drive and about 12 parking spaces in a short grassy area. Large vehicles will fit but may benefit from backing into a space! The owner met everyone at the gate. There are ducks and dogs that roam freely in this area and are very friendly. There is a porta potty available for use. This is a fun event for adults or kids; this time it was all adults. Sometimes the owner’s young daughter is present. Before and during getting started, they explained helpful information like how the goats go to the bathroom freely because they can’t control it or a reminder to remove jewelry. Once entering the covered tent area, you can lay out a yoga mat and a towel over it. Then you take off your shoes and you can hang it on the fence around the area or the staff will help put them up for you. You can keep your water bottle near you - goats may sniff it or bump it.There’s a brief explanation about the goats. There were 23 goats and 2 sheep. They all have names and like to be pet under their chin and on their sides. You don’t have to do any yoga but there is a very entry level meditation and yoga poses you can follow - if there isn’t a goat in your lap! It lasts for about 1 hour. Then there is a small shop area of products to choose from including crystals, t-shirts, tank tops, long sleeve shirts, goat milk soap (scented and unscented), calendars with pictures from the farm, stickers, some jewelry, mugs, and duck or goose eggs (about 50 cents per duck egg, $2 per goose egg if available). Items may depend on time of year. This is a small family owned farm and the proceeds help them care for the animals.”
“You're going to LOVE this bed and breakfast. There's so much character and history in every inch of this home. Monica and Daniel were very intentional about the space they created. It's cozy, homey and offers several opportunities to relax and just be. You'll find a beautiful assortment of books in every single room. ??My personal favorites:The porch - we were blessed with light rain while there and sitting on a porch, sipping tea while enjoying a rocking chair was absolute bliss.Monica's homemade breakfast smelled delicious all the way upstairs. She was thoughtful and considered any dietary restrictions as well which just speaks to her heart and creativity in the kitchen. You could spend your whole entire day, several days just at the house. Light music playing, several seating and resting spots, and at night it's so well lit outside. If you have a choice, go with Eagles Inn - the shower is incredible!Hospitality was a 10 out of 10. We had a packed itinerary but were able to chat with Monica and Daniel on a couple of occasions - beautiful couple.Walkability: We were just a 10-12 minute walk from tons of restaurants and just a 3 - 5 minute drive from local activities, book stores, candle shops, etc.”

“I've experienced such invigorating joy and healing freedom from the events I've attended and people I've met with Living Arts Collective. They're able to foster gorgeous waves that both gently welcome you while powerfully enriching you. I also admire the rarity of how they're able to hold and celebrate intergenerational spaces as they do.”
“The Cookery was an incredible venue for our March 2024 wedding reception. The space reflected our vibe so well and the cocktails are amazing! We loved the garden space for photos, the courtyard for our beignet truck dessert, and the dancing the night away. We really enjoyed working with Virginia to make our vision a reality!”
“Let me tell y’all.. this is THE SPOT to be!! Looking for a wholesome Friday night with great food, drinks, music, and activities? This is it. I first started coming alone and even by myself the vibes were the best! Today I ended up running out of gas right before I was about to leave. The staff were closing up and I quickly ran up and asked for help. Within 5 minutes there was a whole team out there helping and making sure I was okay & the car was good. They even ended up having gas and got me on my way! Couldn’t recommend this place enough. I’ll be back again + friends!!”
“This event space is the epitome of excellent for all your "quaint" venue needs. From ample space, sound equipment , ambience, streaming capabilities etc The Complexx has it covered!”
“Having been to a few Venture X locations in the past, this one does not disappoint! Easy to get to from RDU, tons of light throughout the workspace, some amazing coffee and 2 great hosts.
Definitely will be back.”

“My wife and I love this hotel! The staff is amazingggg. The food and drinks are delicious ! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This is our top choice when staying in Durham!”
“We held a day-long office retreat at Pine and Poplar -- we had a terrific experience! The staff was responsive and attentive, the set-up accommodated our particular needs, and the food (breakfast, lunch, and social hour) was delicious. Highly recommend!”
“I recently attended an event at Studio Motif. Ms. Still was an awesome host. Her space was everything I needed and more. There were activities for everyone, from toddlers to older adults. This is definitely a hidden gem in Durham. I will definitely book this space again.”
“Great Experience will be back, Highly Recommend buying skip the line tickets if you wanna get in the building fairly quickly
Parking: Spent $30 on parking”
“Staff was really nice, room was clean and well put together! My only complaint is the scoring system had the Sasquatch room rated a 7/10 (the only lower room was 6/10) which I thought would be mildly difficult for casual puzzlers but was super, super linear and easy. It only took us about 20ish minutes (I know, probably not as fast as it would for some folks) but there was never really a moment where we were tripped up. I just thought it would be more challenging and the room felt like it was more for kids or families. I'd consider booking with Mission Games again but would probably call and ask more questions about the difficulty of the room I was choosing!”
“Fun place for every age!
This place has food, arcades, and, of course, bowling.
Sadly, the barriers on the side can't be chosen for individual younger players and would have to be up for everyone if chosen to use them. So, we opted for the ramp for our youngest player!
Didn't get to play the arcade games or try any foods this time around, but hopefully, next time.
As we were a group of 6 ppl, we were able to use a Groupon here. One location was closer to where I lived, but Groupon was only redeemable at the Durham location.”
“This is my go to favorite place to stay in RDU when visiting Duke University Hospital. Nice facilities and comfortable rooms.
Rooms: Sofa bed, king or double beds, fridge and microwave, desk area.
Nearby activities: Lots of food places very near by.
Safety: Feels pretty safe. Some homelessness in the area but nice people.
Walkability: It's in a complex so everything is easy to walk to. Many vendors like restaurants and medical facilities and shopping.
Food and drinks: Many restaurants in walking distance.”

Love the outdoor WARM pool.
Breakfast is great .
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons :
Place looks dated,
Maintenance is lacking in more than one area of the hotel.
Layout of hotel is a bit weird , elevator was a far walk from main entrance and not centrally located”

“I have traveled for business, pleasure and now for medical reasons. I have finally found very nice lodging for myself and my certificated dogs. Very clean, so clean I took a bath, not a shower. That's huge! I have paid more for places that you wouldn't ever want to return again to. The staff is on par and will assist you immediately. Even without asking for anything, they have asked me on more than one occasion if I needed anything. I love the high ceilings and the large window to see out. The carpets aren't disgusting and the lobby is well-maintained. I'd recommend to anyone. I realize that many places like such have been around and were probably quite busy before video conferencing capabilities and of course COVID. I hope that this place is able to still stand, as it's not brand new, though super clean and room furnishings are not worn, etc. YAY!!!!
Although, I did not utilize - there is a nice pool too!”

“I recently stayed here while in town for work. I originally chose it because of the price but was pleasantly surprised. This place isn't fancy, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and the shower had fantastic water pressure. I overnight in Raleigh every few months and will be staying here again for sure.”
“Love this Botanical Garden. It's free other than paid parking. There are some areas designed for the younger crowd, such as the wooden block rock table allowing them to explore their building skills. There are many trails, and we have always been able to maneuver the park with a stroller in the group. Highly recommend for all ages....you won't be disappointed.”
