“This is a great store, but when I attempted to return something (the ready to cook meal and leaked the raw chicken juice all over the produce) the customer service employee was very rude”
“2/21/25 I wrote the original post several years ago. Our opinion has not changed. If anything, the store has gotten better and has more stuff.

Biggest and best supplied Asian store that we are aware of in Jacksonville. We go for the Korean groceries. Pretty good fresh and frozen food and produce.”
“This food lion is in a direct path to work. They are always clean and have a smile on their face. I appreciate the produce manager always asking if there is anything he can assist with. There are many food lions in the area, however this one is my perferance.”

“Always love Foodlion, great staff and many the same for decades. It is always clean and well stocked, kind professional great customer service. Beats Walmart by light-years on price quality service and eye appeal. Walmart prices can't beat the MVP prices at Food Lion and buy 1 get one free specials.”
“Autumn was a lot of help today! She saw i was struggling and came over to save the day! I had a big order, she went and grabbed another cart and proceeded to put my groceries in my cart for me, that was great courage and a great deal of outside the box thinking to help out today! “Love Aldi overall with one exception - processed meats. Many are off with taste or texture or too salty. Chicken breast slices overground to point of being unrecognizable. Beef sausage is mostly missing. I'd say prices for unprocessed meat are only on par with other stores.
Aldi's probably accounts for half of our food purchases and still a favorite vs the big box thingy.”
“My favorite place to shop for meat and produce! The commissary prices for meat and produce are so much cheaper than out in town and the quality of meat and produce is good too. With that being said, I do however find that their dairy products and bread are more expensive than Walmart.
The employees here are friendly and you can tell they genuinely enjoy their work place and take pride in the cleanliness of their store. I come here for those reasons. Keep up the great work!”

Unfortunately the app is confusing. I open the food lion app and started my shopping list, but when I was ready to check out, I was sent to food lion go. But my list was gone.

“I ordered pick up while I was visiting from out of state and love the convenience of being able to order online and pick up. I offered to drive to the front of the store since it was raining but the rep said it was not a problem to bring it to my car. Very courteous and friendly. I had no issues with my order.”

“Love the selection for a more of a discount store. Thinking if you had a membership with same scale at register at door to swipe membership cards then shop and we are compelled to check out ourselves cause only one register is running with 9 people standing around talking to each other. We could use phone to buy products and then weight out at check out and should match purchases. It's really aggravating to do everything ourselves and watch 9 people standing around doing absolutely nothing at these prices. They're friendly. They do say hello and thank you.”

“It is convenient to go directly up to the store and quickly get what I need in the way of produce and other essential groceries and things that are of need from where I'm at it's not much hassle I just take a walk even with a walker I go there and take care of my business to come home things to Walmart for what they do”
“Everything's good except the pharmacy seems to be overwhelmed if you have more than one script to fill when you call it in be specific and make sure that they fill all of them if not they will fill what they want and when you go to pick it up you'll have to wait about an hour for them to fix what they forgot to do so if your trying to save time I wouldn't recommend”
“We frequently go to this place. The staff are very friendly and welcoming here as well! They have a lot of Filipino selection at this location and I often shop here with my husband. Of course, they also have variety of Asian food selection as well. We also go here since they have 6 pack ramune for a very reasonable price since my husband loves it.”

“I go in this DG all the time bc it's 5 mins from my house and they are always busy. Never enough staff so those ladies work so hard! I have had ppl tell me how rude customers were to the cashier and I just want to say that for how few ppl they have and all the customers to help, they do great and dont let me be in line and hear anyone cursing or being rude to them bc they dont get paid enough to deal with that ignorance. They may not say anything but I can assure you I will. Spread love, not negativity. Im a kind person that cares about everyone but I also dont have any problem calling out wrong so BE NICE OR STAY HOME so nobody goes home with a headache, best scenario!”

“Qhen I used to live on this side of town this was always my stop in place to get gas and snacks. The gas was always alittle cheaper here than most other places. The customer service reps were always friendly and some of them became like family memebers. Unfortunately its on the other sside of town from where I currently live but I still drop in every once and awhile to catch up and take advantage of lower gas rates.”
