Any time we call we are seen in a very timely manor. I have adopted senior cats and they all needed special care, Dr. Howard is always so kind and takes time to explain everything to us. Our one dog was recently diagnosed with kidney diseas. Dr. Howard was quick to get us to the right people and place. My husband and myself feel very secure about taking our pets to Carolina Forest Animal Clinic and Dr. Howard has been a blessing to us. can't recommend him and his staff enough.

Abby was our dog’s trainer and she did an amazing job. We received photos and videos everyday to see how much progress Bojangles was making. She took him on field trips to the park and stores. She even came to our house for pick up, drop off, and took him to the groomer! His door manners, recall, and being able to go on walks with distractions has improved significantly. The difference in him is remarkable. For his graduation she thoroughly went over everything he had learned and had me practice working with him so I’d feel confident continuing his training. We couldn’t be more happy with his results and highly recommend them! Thank you Abby and Ridgeside K9.

I live in Indiana now but rest ashore ever 3-4 months my pups are spending 2-3 days there. They get groomed and get to relax and play with the other pups. The staff is top notch. Friendly as can be. The facility is very clean. Bottom line. They are the Best.

I prefer mine freshly ground, just before perking, and with all the heavenly taste coffee should have. That being said... when it comes to coffees... I'm pretty picky. I've been pretty fortunate to find some fine roasteries in the area, and yet one thing that evaded me... that I craved... is real vibrant robust Cuban coffee. I had reached a conclusion long ago that the only times I would be able to enjoy that amazing flavor would be on my visits to my cousin Rick's in Florida.... that is... until now. I have found an authentic treasure.. REAL... ROBUST... VIBRANT... Cuban Coffee in an environment that would have one think that he was sitting in Cafe Arcengel or Cafe El Dandy in Havana.
Real Cuban coffee is something that not every barista can master. It requires the right blend of coffee beans, slow roasted to perfection. It requires a unique brewing that draws out the vibrant flavors of the bean. And for the very best... it requires a barista that has grown up with the unique flavor filled environment of Cuba where folks made the best of what little they had. So finding REAL Cuban coffee anywhere above Florida is NOT an easy task... at least not until now.
Nestled in a tiny little shopping block at 1010 Henderson Drive in Jacksonville, North Carolina is perhaps one of the best little and very authentic Cuban Coffee shops I've ever found, right down to the classic chess table set up and ready for the next person to play. It's more than just coffees... it's an experience in culture with the unique music of cuba, the aromas of the coffee, the sweets one only finds until now in Florida and Cuba, and real cuban sandwiches!!
One would be hard pressed to choose if the shop is a coffeehouse, a cafe, or bakery... I suppose it's all of them... of as they say in Cuba.. a Coffee Cafe. It is amazing.
It's has been said that there are no words that can adequately describe the energizing flavor of a real Cuban Expresso, or the dynamic almost heavenly flavors of the cakes.... or the experience of a true Cuban Sandwich.
But those who have experienced Havana 58 on Henderson Drive in Jacksonville know that this tiny Cafe is a true culinary treasure, reasonable in its pricing.. an experience to be savored and treasured.
The folks that own the shop, run the shop. Service is excellent. It's not a place for the giant crowds, or those who just want turn and burn. Havana 58 is authentic... and one could not ask for better. I definitely give them five stars in all categories. JM

That employee did not lie the cheesesteak was great. Definitely in my top 3 for NC so far. The place reminds you of a burger place up north and I love it. Look great and taste great. I'd love to eat in but I never have time. The ambiance of the store definitely has a great look and feel to it. I would definitely be back and recommend this place to others. I wish JT still worked there. He was an amazing cook!

Inside they have comfortable seating for those wanting to sit and relax a bit and offer various food and drinks. I've enjoyed ordering their Chai shake and my husband has enjoyed their brown sugar latte. The employees are very nice and we're able to give our order and get our drinks fairly quickly. Overall, a nice alternative to other coffee places around and I would recommend this location.

I was not disappointed, I got the meatball sub and it exceeded my expectations, and I also got a Italian sub, to go, I forgot what Sis got but she enjoyed hers very much, I know I recommend a lot, but that’s one of my favorites, and the price is worth it.
Parking: It’s a small lot in front of the building, but we had no trouble finding a parking spot.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a one story building with a ramp to get into the restaurant and tables to sit at.

Such a great example of continued success for one of the best restaurants in Onslow County. The new place has a larger bar area and I believe a lot more seating and definitely better parking than before. Such a great vibe! The service here has always been excellent. When I came home and opened the bag the personalized card, paw prints, and letter made me cry, it’s so sweet of them! I got one of the necklaces and requested to bring my other pups ashes in that passed away in a different state last year to mix in the necklace and they said yes without any hesitation. When we opened my other pets urn that was cremated in FL her ashes were in a gallon ziplock bag! When he put the ashes back he wrapped them with care and covered them to provide the dignity she deserves.Kevin was so kind and could sense I was struggling and gave the warmest hug, which I really needed. Setting up cremation, picking out an urn, was not a hassle at all, which was much needed because we were out of our minds with grief. You can tell the care that they put into making sure every animal has the dignity and respect that they deserve.I cannot thank them enough!
