Fin-Tastic Fish & Pets
705 Phillips Rd, KinstonFamily type atmosphere. Was able to get the live feeder mice I needed for our juvenile ball pythons. So appreciative. While I was there I noticed they were custom ordering a supplement for a customer. They go above and beyond for their customers.

Petco
1150 Hill Farm Rd, KinstonMassive Petco with a TSC vibe. They have more products and supplies geared towards farm animals. Some chicken and rabbit coops out front, a separate section somewhat outside (similar to a garden center) with more items that I did not explore. They had some really nice looking aquatic plants - not in the plastic tubes, they were submerged in a larger holding tank. I paid 7.99 for a large cryptocoryne in rock wool. They also stock the somewhat less common tank sizes such as 20 gallon longs and 40 gallon breeders. Oddly, they did not have any Aqueon versa glass canopy lids in store. I would like to return to browse more of their selection.

1991 NC-11 55 South, KinstonHands down one of the BEST vet clinics I’ve ever been to. The staff is so sweet and knowledgeable and my dog LOVES them! My dog had to get a tooth extraction, and they haven’t had any problems answering every one of my emails (multiple times a day?) super fast! They have the best prices around too! cannot recommend them enough.

Colhaven Havanese
3030 Ravenwood Dr, KinstonEllen is wonderful woman who breeds beautiful Havanese. We just got our puppy Finn (formerly known as Max) yesterday. We lost our 14 1/2 year old Cavachon a few days ago. I have forgotten how much work a puppy is! He is a furry jumping bean. I dsee puppy daycare in his future and hope it tires him out ? He certainly seems healthy and happy.

Kingston Cavaliers
702 Cobb Rd, KinstonWe have had dogs for 46 years and not one Breeder has ever taken the time and care to call us 2 days later to see how things were going. Our Georgie came crate trained and almost house trained. He is a beautiful puppy and incredibly related. Becky is responsive in ways I have never experienced. It’s to bad our city allows only 3 dogs. My next dog will be another Kingston Cavalier King Charles . Just as a side note, we live in Michigan and flew down to get him. It was all worth it.

Lenoir County SPCA
2455 Rouse Rd Exd, KinstonI have adopted two shelter pets so far and both have been the most loving fur babies I've ever known. The first was "Mister", an incredibly sweet, miniature schnauzer with silver hair (just like mine), so we were inseparable for the rest of his years on earth. The next was "Nakey Jake", an amazing, two-year-old, Sphynx! He's my hairless fur baby who is loving, playful, and sassy. He's proud of his uniqueness, and loves to cuddle when I'm home from work. You'll notice that neither of mine had (or have) actual fur. Schnauzers have hair, and Sphynx have no fur. The SPCA staff and volunteers in Lenoir County are simply wonderful! They care for some very special animals who end up abandoned for some reason, and they keep their stress levels low while finding them the best homes. Adopt one today!
