We both work full time, and kind of forgot how much work a puppy was. So we reached out to ponderosa for doggy daycare, and we could not be more satisfied with them. They are probably the ONLY place in town who really cares about the dogs they care for every day. We receive pictures multiple times a day when Ember is with them. If your looking for true dog lovers to care for your furbaby, call these people. They have exceeded our expectations to say the least! An amazing group of people who really care about what they do for you!

101 Moore Street, SwansboroStopped in for lunch. The clam chowder was really good. Had the shrimp n grits, loved the pickled jalapeños. This fish sandwich had a huge piece of flaky white fish. The salad with salmon was cooked perfectly.
Staff was friendly and the food came swiftly.

109 Front St, SwansboroBoro is a waterfront location with heated outdoor seating and a fun dog menu for the pups that tag along. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful, recognizing we were cold and bringing tea options and telling us about the potato and leek soup of the day. The Icehouse Grandwich was huge and flaky to the point of falling apart. I was also a big fan of the beet salad, the butternut squash and goat cheese balanced the beets very well.

99 W Church St, SwansboroThe restaurant's decor is beautiful and relaxing at the same time with absolutely stunning views from the deck at the waterfront. The menu included many Staples you expect to see but also a variety of unique dishes. I had a spinach and strawberry salad along with a mojito. both were delicious. can't wait to go back to try more items. I also wanted to give an extra shout out to Tess and Eric from the kitchen, who personalized a dessert for me for my birthday. it was gorgeous and delicious. They went out of their way to make my birthday lunch special.
