Locust Animal Clinic
1104 W Main St, LocustI have been taking my fur babies for years. I do not trust anyone else he is compassionate and understanding. I never feel judged or pressure like I have at others. His staff is just the best and they clearly lover there job and it shows. His main focus is on the animal rather then the money unlike others that make you feel like they are trying to charge things that is not necessary. I will not go to anyone unless he is booked up and I have no choice. I I all ways regret it because none of the other vets compare to his love for the animals.

1012 W Main St, LocustDr Barker and his staff are amazing. He has been my vet for over 16 years and I recommend him all the time. I have had horrible experiences at other vets and he has always been honest, upfront, never taken advantage of his services and suggested more than what needed done. His compassion, kindness and friendliness to myself, my family, and our pets is genuine and matchless to any other veterinarian services I have ever received. Highly recommend!

Mi Fuente Fresh Mexican Grill
117 N Central Ave, LocustI drove 20 miles outside of CLT to try this place and I"ll definitely be back! As far as commercial Mexican restaurants go, this place is many times better than anything I encounter in CLT, unless I go to "un-Americanized" places that are not just authentic, they are genuine Mexican and South American food places. Mi Fuente has the best quesa-birria tacos I had outside of the state of Texas. The ACP and other traditional dishes are just miles above better than the places I've been in CLT, and that's at ton! Well worth the drive if you don't live in Locust.
