“I came across this little place today when I googled sandwich shops. So I went, owners were very friendly and by the way it looks a lot of local cliental come here. I had the Turkey, bacon club on sourdough bread with lettuce and tomato. It was fresh and yummy.”

“Food Lion is one of my first go-to grocery stores. I find all my basic needs and anything else that they don't carry, I then shop elsewhere. I purchase everything ORGANIC that I can find. I give a thumbs-up to Food Lion as they carry three-quarters of the items I buy.
I also buy grass-fed meat products, and look for no-nitrates/no-nitrites food products such as bacon, and Food Lion does a good job there. Their prices are competitive and you earn points toward dollars off the grocery bill, that's a plus!”
“This back road convenient store with a made to order food menu that’s an absolute must. From there, hotdogs all the way to their hillbillies special pizza with all the toppings is some good eating. Fast and friendly service.”
“I have been going to this food lion for a longtime as it's the closest one to me. The people are great and they do a pretty good job on keeping things stocked. There's only one issue I have and it's been going on for years now. Most of the time the whole store smells like sewer or Sulphur or something. Sometimes it's not too bad but other times the smell of rotten eggs will knock your head off. It's definitely not something you want to smell or even think about when buying your food. Like I said it's been going on for years and even when it isn't bad you still smell it. The scent is probably stuck to everything in there.I feel sorry for the employees that have to work in that.. 5 minutes in the store when it's bad gives me a horrible headache. I don't know if they need to get the city of morganton ,a plumber, a food lion maintenance man or someone from Corporate but please get someone out there to find out and fix the problem. If something doesn't change with it soon I'm gonna start shopping somewhere else I'm afraid.”
“As a fellow food lion employee, it's always a neat experience to walk in and see how other stores are set up. The employees looked like they were enjoying their job, the deli staff was hard at work, and everything looked well stocked and put together. One thing I don't understand (not to the fault of the store) is why set up Food Lion To Go right in the back next to the restrooms where freight and a lot of traffic comes through. As someone who assists the mobile order team, that lack of space leaves hardly any room for the workers to properly do their job.”
“They're all so friendly here. The ladies at the grill always take good care of us. The bologna egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches are amazing! So is the chuckwagon sandwich.
Decent prices and a little bit of just about everything.”

“This Dollar General in Morganton NC beside the Wal-Mart Grocery has it all, the manager really cares about her job, store, etc. She has the shelves full always and if there's a bare spot it's because they are out of stock. Thank you.”

“Just wanted to say that there is a very nice gentleman that works here. He goes above and beyond. One day I was short in my bank account. He helped me get my gift cards activated so I could pay for my groceries. He was very compassionate and was very helpful. Hope his managers know that he is doing a great job!”
“I like the variety of drinks that are imported and sold at the store I even left with a bracelet and some coconut water and some fresh homemade breads that are delicious with an amazing cup of coffee and I had to have this beautiful blue bracelet I think it represents Guatemala which is really cool”
“Small independent gas station that offers both gas and diesel. The inside has the usual convenience store items and Hunt Brothers Pizza.All in all, this is not a bad stop for gas.”
“Wide variety of Beverages, Foods and other items. They have good gas their as well." One of the very few older stores surviving" Staff is always friendly. I highly doubt thrifty mart will ever shut down with all the customers and Traffic going by on 70. Just a good ole Country Store that's been around far as i remember and im 40 been going there since I was a child. Very little has changed only some upgrades inside. A+”

“Who hasn't been to a Walmart? This walmart I have to say is much better than the one in my town. It's layed out different. I like it. They had alot yet left over from Christmas. Like 3 isles of Christmas stuff. I found some adorable little cactus ornaments for next year. They were 50% Off so $1.00 for 4 little ones. I bought 2 packages I thought they were adorable! The garden department where all the Christmas stuff was is now bare in areas. Over all we didn't mind shopping here. We would definitely stop back here and shop!”

If I remember the names correctly (Becca and Michael) are very helpful. I know stores usually get noticed for the bad and not good. I just want to say this is one of the Best locations I shop.”
