After some damage to the side doors of my car, I was convinced they would need to be completely replaced. I was already bracing myself for a long repair time and a huge bill. “We took our daughter’s car to three body shops to get estimates. Robert gave us an estimate for almost half of what other shops were quoting. He doesn’t add in additional fees like the others. He is straight-forward and trustworthy. Not only is he friendly and professional, he got the job done quickly. The parts were ordered prior to drop off and it was ready by the end of the week. You would never know there was ever anything wrong when he was done. We cannot recommend Robert’s Body Shop enough. Amazing work and great to deal with.”

“I did something really stupid with my SLK 350 hard-top convertible. A rubber mat I had left in the wrong place in the trunk got itself jammed deep in the folding mechanism - and the top was down! I was facing a probably expensive trip to a Mercedes-Benz dealer, more than two hours away, and with the possibility of rain on the way.... I had never been to this shop before, but I tried it on a recommendation and got immediate help from a skilled mechanic. He had a low-tech solution that saved the day with some simple common sense. “I had an excellent experience at this Advance Auto Parts location, the kind of visit that leaves you genuinely appreciative of good customer service. From the moment I walked in, the store felt clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The shelves were well stocked, everything was clearly labeled, and I didn’t feel like I had to hunt through clutter to find what I needed. It’s obvious the team takes pride in keeping the place in order.
The real standout of the visit, though, was the staff. Every employee I interacted with was friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. They didn’t just point me toward the aisle, they actually walked over with me, explained the differences between several products, and helped me choose the right one for my specific situation. You can tell they’ve helped a lot of people through a lot of repairs because they had a way of breaking things down that made it easy for anyone to understand.
They even gave some helpful pointers about installation, all without making me feel rushed or talked down to. It was the kind of above and beyond service you hope for but don’t always get, especially when dealing with car issues that can already be stressful.
Checkout was smooth and efficient, and the person at the counter double-checked my items to make sure I hadn’t forgotten anything important. It’s a small gesture, but it shows they’re paying attention.
Overall, this Advance Auto Parts went well beyond expectations. Great service, knowledgeable staff, clean store, and a team that actually cares about helping customers solve problems instead of just ringing up sales. Definitely a five star experience and absolutely the place I’ll return to for future auto needs.”

“Great place, Mr. Bud has never let me down and has come though on hard to find or even obsolete parts more times than I can count. Mr. Bud is always going and runs the counter he's always wearing a smile and hoping everyone has a good day. Truly makes you feel like you walked into the right place. Yes the prices can be a little higher but I've tried going to other places for cheaper parts and have always been let down. There are some delays on occasion but the parts are always right and always in good usable condition. If they are damaged I'm aware of it before the part is ordered so i know what I'm dealing with and not surprised.”

“I went into the Auto Zone on Neuse Blvd to buy oil for my car. I mentioned to the man at the counter, Ronald Nichols (on his name tag) that my engine light came on yesterday and I was concerned. He politely offered to check it for me. Turns out I needed a new battery for my Mazda. I purchased one and he quickly and efficiently installed it for me, Even though it was very cold, he did a great job, was very polite and when I drove away my check engine light was no longer on! Auto Zone, this man is an excellent employee and when necessary; I will be returning to your store on Neuse Blvd in New Bern! I am a very happy customer! Thank you!”
