178 Catawba Ave, Old FortWe came here to try a local brewery and we loved it. Whaley Farm is a small little brewery located in Old Fort, North Carolina. The building is beautifully decorated inside and out. I loved all the flower boxes filled with beautiful blooms and pollinators. They have a lovely outdoor seating area and lovely indoor seating area too.
You order at the bar, where they not only sell beer but also local produce! The staff was so friendly and welcoming.
You can tell this is a locals place. People were coming in and out to hang out after a long work day. I had their Berliner Weisse beer with a blueberry basil syrup it was so yummy! I’ve never had syrup in a beer before. My husband had their Zwickel Pilsner and loved it.
This place is soooo cute and a must stop on a visit to Old Fort.
