“Amazing variety of animal goods and treats! I couldn’t believe they had cow tails, pig snouts, cow ears, ox horns, etc. They have a large wall of toys, lots of dry and wet foods, and a bathing area that the sign said they offered I believe once a month for free. Their prices are also very good and reasonable! I was visiting out of state and picked up a handful of dried dog treats as my older dog LOVES pig/cow ears. Definitely a wonderful local business to check out whether you live in Raleigh or visiting!”

“My wife and I came into Unleashed for the first time yesterday and had the best time. We were greeted right as we walked through the door and it was refreshing compared to a lot of other pet stores in Raleigh. My lab has a lot of sensitivities/allergies and Bridget was super helpful in helping us find treats my dog could actually eat! She answered all of our questions and also educated us on pet nutrition. She informed us about a lot of things we didn’t even know and talked to us about potentially switching our dogs food. Her kindness made our first experience at Unleashed spectacular and we will definitely be back in with our dog next time to invest in a new food. I am recommending Unleashed to all my friends and neighbors, they have the best selection and staff in Raleigh!”
“They have a good variety of canned cat foods for special diets. Products that I can't find locally anywhere else. They seem to always have some samples or other freebies(can lids, treats, etc) to throw in. The staff are always friendly and helpful, but not overbearing at all. Would love to have a store closer to me in Clayton, but I make the special trip to Raleigh because of the variety. It's nice to be able to buy one or two cans to see if my cats will eat something before I purchase more. While I do purchase most of my cat food online(chewy), this store is great for things that can't be bought online”

“I have the pickiest Golden Retriever on Earth and had some initial doubts, but the second her new salmon food bag made it in to the house, her interest sparked. She's been on several flavors of Pet Wants Food for a couple years now, and happily eats them all. Don't even get me started on her freeze dried salmon and freeze dried chicken heart addictions! The owners are knowledgeable and always happy to help with suggestions! Great store at the fairgrounds flea market, and it's always fun to stop by their booth at area events; I highly recommend!”

You just walk on in and say hi to the friendly staff /volunteers as you make your way to pet some sweet kitties and hopefully pick one To take home with you.”

“Erin helped me decide which carriers/harnesses would be best for my pets and get them ahead of hurricane Dorian in case we have to evacuate. All the stress was stacking up and I truly needed her help in selecting the proper harness while trying to avoid a headache because time was running low. She did so wonderfully.Very kind and helpful! She packed my shipment up immediately. It arrived three full days sooner than was projected.I wish I'd known the weight limit was 45 lbs on the medium size harnesses for my 75 lb dog, and it's something I normally would have caught but that's fine. Erin even helped me throw in an S-clip when I forgot it in the initial order.”
“My girlfriend and I attended a free shad fishing class hosted by orvis with one of their trusted guides (threadfin guide services). The class was very well put together and we learned A TON about shad fishing including fly selection, rig tying, proper gear selection, and most importantly the proper locations to put this new knowledge to use. Immediately after the class my girlfriend and I went out to one of the locations we learned about and sure enough we got to hook into some shad for the first time! I can’t say enough positive things about the team over at the Raleigh Orvis, every time I visit I walk it with more knowledge than last time. These guys love what they do and it absolutely shows!!”

“TLDR: Excellent customer service, ample products, pricier than online retailers. I stopped here after meeting a sales rep at the Raleigh Pet Expo. The best part of my visit were the incredible employees. Each employee I interacted with was friendly, patient, and ready to help. Several asked if I needed assistance and checked to make sure I found what I was looking for. The store is packed with merchandise. It is fairly organized and the items are labelled well. It is surprisingly pricy. I would opt to purchasing toys and treats at online retailers. Then if in town around this location I would get live insects here. They also have a lot of food options and adorable live animals for purchase like bunnies and ferrets. Overall, they have a good selection of items and excellent customer service.”
“For years I've shopped here for their selection of Fromm pet food. There is nothing better. It's guaranteed fresh here, I buy the largest pink bag. It takes one scoop to fill my 70 lb German mix. Thanks WG, I'll be back when we need a refill.”
“It was great actually! Awesome fish,tons of variety and helpful info! Only problem i had was the plants. Most of them looked dead and i tried to get the best looking one and even that is coverd in black algee and a lil dead,but overall a great place to go for fish!”

“My pup enjoyed his first away stay as I traveled. Was an adjustment for both of us but the staff here was professional, knowledgeable & caring. I do plan to keep them as my pups boarding option. The different level of rooms some with camera & tv were great the have. Will be trying out doggy daycare as my guy enjoyed play groups during his stay. Would definitely recommend to other pet parents for a worry free boarding option!”

“This was our first time boarding our puppy (anywhere!), and I was very anxious about leaving him for the first time. But PetsHotel took good care of him and gave us a full report on his stay, including his playtimes, how much he ate, and even how often he used the bathroom! Our puppy was (obviously) happy to see us and ready to go home when we picked him up, but we could tell he'd been well cared for and had enjoyed his stay because the employees knew him by name, and he made sure to say a quick "goodbye" to the people who had taken care of him - That really put my mind at ease! Would highly recommend this PetsHotel and would definitely let our pup stay with them again!”
“This was the second time that my Yorkie has been there and she really does a great job but this time he was shaved too close at the neck and when I asked about it, it was like no he wasn't. It's very noticeable and if I make a mistake, I'm willing to admit it, but she acts as if that's how it was supposed to look and I know it isn't. I left there a little disappointed. Otherwise, she really does a great job in a timely manner.”

“I have one very picky cat, who needs food rotation every 2 months or so. Every time I come in, I leave with new options on recommendation from the phenomenal staff. They have experience using different foods with their own pets, they remember which foods they’ve recommended to me previously, and are always empathetic to my/cats needs.
I have no issues trying different options because I know they carry only high quality products, and since I began shopping here I have stopped using Chewy for my cat food purchases. I feel so supported and always leave with a smile on my face. I am so grateful to this store and the wonderful people working here.”
