The man who answered the phone when I called was very kind and patient. Also, the doctor and assistant who had to put our sweet boy to sleep were very compassionate. I am very grateful for the way they handled the situation.

They have boarded dogs for us during emergency placement situations and have taken in several dogs to be trained and properly assessed to ensure they are ready for adoption.
The owner of the kennel has gone above and beyond by not only working through behavioral challenges with our dogs, but also by taking the time to show us how to continue that work ourselves. She is always willing to answer questions and provide guidance, which has made a significant difference in the outcomes for our dogs.
We have personally seen the facility, the training setup, and the methods used, and we are consistently impressed with the level of care, structure, and dedication. If it were possible to rate higher than five stars, WGW Kennels would easily earn a ten.

Perfect Perks Coffee Hut
1307 W 15th St, WashingtonThis is the best coffee. Whenever I go out of town and I try other small coffee joints, this what I compare to. The flavor of their coffee is phenomenal, and you can get any syrups imaginable for your drink of choice. If you're not a coffee fan they serve smoothies and Redbull spritzers that my non-coffee friends love. If that intrigues you try the RedBull spritzer with sour gummy and blue razz. Their food menu varies week to week, and it sells fast. Micki is an excellent cook, and everything I've had has been great. I truly believe a fight could break out over her honey bun cake. The staff is amazing, friendly and warm. My favorite two drinks would be a Dead Man Walking java chip and white chocolate frappe, and an iced latte with mocha, cookie dough and a splash of heavy whipping cream.

It's an old Golden Corral restaurant. Really, really old. Food is very good. Always. Will definitely return again & again.

We celebrated my Aunt and Uncle’s anniversary there and couldn’t have picked a better place. I ordered the fried pork chop with eggs and home fries—every bite was pure comfort. Our whole table cleaned our plates, and the food came out hot and fresh in just about ten minutes. For two of us, it was only around $25, which is a steal these days. Friendly, welcoming, and downright delicious—Shep’s is worth making a monthly tradition.

The chili garlic shrimp were exceptional, the Brussels sprouts were top notch, spinach dip and mulberry salad were good additions. Topped it off with a coffee stout. Nice staff, somewhat crowded seating that should be spaced a bit to save the staff and clients climbing over each other. But a great place!

Our service was great and being able to sit in and learn the menu. And it was a family atmosphere and friendly folks. I don't get to go to Washington often, but I would not mind driving out there for this again.

1969 W 5th St, WashingtonThe best BBQ I've ever eaten. HH has catered 2 events for me in the last month and they were perfect. One was a corporate event and one was a family birthday party. I could not have made the food for the price I paid. They cooked the fried chicken and hush puppies on site. They rolled in with the pig cooker in tow and opened up the best whole hog BBQ ever! They are the most precious people you will ever meet.

It is delicious and flavor full now and I will go back highly recommend it. I went back there tonight for dinner and got the shrimp egg for Young and chicken wings and everything was just so delicious. I am so happy that there is a delicious Chinese restaurant here in Washington.

Backwater Jacks Tiki Bar
1052 E Main St, WashingtonAte here today for the second time and again everything was great!! Valerie was our server she was friendly, smiling always and attentative! My son and I started with an app of mozz sticks and they came out rather quickly which was nice. My son ordered the Jacks "buffet" burger with island fries and he loved it! I went with jacks Cuban and their house made coleslaw and I as well loved my food! We were so full we had no room to try the funnel cake fries but thinking next time we will start with those! This place is great has a lot of outdoor seating which is where we sat upstairs and everything was just great! If you haven't been here I say go for it!!
