“I have long wanted to check this place out and finally did. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty amazing. So much stuff in one place. So many foods from every country I could think of. If they don’t have what you are looking for then I doubt that it’s available anywhere in the USA.
I’ve never seen more wine in one place.
It’s also got a funky/groovy vibe.
And you can buy drinks (alcohol) and walk around the store drinking while you shop. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Just don’t try to leave before you finish your drink.
It’s definitely worth checking out. FYI, be prepared to walk a lot. I got all my steps for the day in just one visit, and I typically walk about 3 miles a day.”
“Good wines at great prices, shelf tags show country wine is from, along with wine flavor/description. Parking lot always seems full, would like there to be a location on the west side of I-75”
“Visit the fresh country produce store for unique specialties like fresh herbs, beets, and rare cheeses. They also have regular sales on items like berries and veggies. Swing by for all your charcuterie board needs—they frequently have special offers! One of my favorite places on Beechmont ? My photo shows fresh dill and parsley added to my homemade chicken soup. Game changer!”

I will start volunteering next week, and I can't wait. This will not be my first time volunteering for the Free Store Food Bank, and I always returns.”
“Great deals on groceries and eco-friendly. Bring your own bags and a quarter to rent a cart (don't worry, you get the quarter back when you return the cart).”
“Best small grocery on the westside on Bridgetown near Ebenezer. Nice variety of Virginia Bakery goods, produce and deli. Great beer and wine selections. Staff is friendly and helpful if you can't find something.”
“Heads up bring your own bags they don't give you bags for free. Little run down but I'll say they beat Higer's(kro) prices on most items. The selection is decent. I've drastically cut money spent at Kroger's due to there prices being the highest between Aldi's and Meijer.”

“The tacos here are to die for ??I normally don’t crave tacos just because they aren’t my favorite but since the first time I had these tacos from this place I’ve been craving them !! The tacos are sooo delicious. I will have to try other things in their menu. I also tried a burrito from here and it was amazing! I will definitely come back!!!”
“This place was fascinating to browse. They have a huge variety of fresh, dried and frozen food. We tried the blood orange tea and some halva. There was a tremendous variety of halva. More than I’ve seen before. Definitely worth a stop.”
“GFS has items not available in your local grocery stores. Restaurant quality food. Excellent deli and fresh meat selections. Frozen food variety is great. Produce selection is limited but what is offered is fresh.”

“Nice shopping center. So much better than the old Beechmont Mall. If you have not been there in the past number of years, it's time to come back. What are you waiting for? There is a PNC Bank there, a Mexican restaurant, weight watchers, LensCrafters, Macy's among others. Kroger is there along with a movie theater.”
“Everything is good because the layout of the frozen items/ check out the line can back up to the frozen items. Still Aldi is the best deal for a lot of things and this is the closest one so I'll go but other Aldi I have visited are laid out better”
“I'm a fan of Aldi's. Aldi's still using that, "You give me the cart back, I'll give You your quarter". Not knocking it. Parking lot is a decent size. Novelty items can often be found here. $$ savings. Bring your own bags or buy them there.”
“Authentic, no air conditioning, all the Mexican spices and canned goods and candy you usually look for. An exceptional grilled meat menu. Grilled green onions are amazing as are the house-made salsas. I’d suggest taking out the food. You won’t be disappointed in your take out food!”
“Like this store but wish it would open earlier and have a self check out. I like to buy just a few things at a time but the wait time to check out sometimes is horrible if you only have a few items. At certain times also the store is so crowded and being small it's a nightmare just to shop. I like going early in the morning to stores because of the nasty people out there these day and there children running with no supervision from their parents. I really think being open sooner could help their business with the early crowd. There products are of good quality and produce is better then Krogers in my opinion.”
“Large store, variety of items, even cat food and dog food. Spacious aisles, refrigerated cold drinks, alcohol and thca as well as other smokeables, vapes, cigarettes etc. Friendly, pleasant staff. Easily the best corner store I've been to. Close enough to walk to which is a huge plus. Now I know why I have seen so many people go in/out of there when I am on the bus. There's a stop right outside for the 64. I got their Alien Exotics Prerolls 2-pack and it's ??? it was $14, which was about exactly what I was looking for, I was very impressed.”

“I am a cashier here at whitakers drive thru.. I love all my customers.. I have seen some reviews sayin that we are RUDE.. Please people.. do be specific about who is rude,because it does get corrected thats for sure..please do not think that OUR customers concerns do not get the attention they need.. I Do apologise on the behalf of whitakers if an employee has been rude to anyone.. I love and appreciate every customer that comes in.. “This drive-thro has been around in Norwood as long as I can remember. The same man owns it and is great. Its so fast and convenient, they have everything drinks snacks spirits smokes and much much more. They also cell phone cards for minutes ,cash work checks for a decent percentage and they work really hard. Such a small place with so much product, literally i find things there i can not find anywhere else anymore and not outdated at all!! Drive thro sometime and check it out in Norwood corner of Dale u pull in the driveway that isn't on Dale rd but the st that dead ends to Dale i belive its hunt ave? Anyway. Even if they have along line of cars no issues they run service quick! They also it set up to walk inside if you prefer. Muhammad I believe is the main man and so nice... im from butler county Ohio and am very used to using them. I lived in Norwood my whole life of and on with my dad, and I would walk down there when I was young like 10-17yrs old im 36 now. And its the same owner that continues great service!! Go drive thru”

“Stumbled upon this place recently and shopped there today. A little difficult to find as I passed by it initially, but it is clean and organized. I have yet to try the food that I purchased, but Gina was very friendly and helpful. If I had a little more space I would try out their package/bundle deals, but I just got bags of chicken rings, fries, roasted wings and QC hot dogs. Great prices on 5 lbs. bagged items, especially given the rise in food prices. I’m sure everything will be delicious.”
