I was at the same event as i just saw another posted that they and their friends had issues with their cards after the post modern jukebox concert. I thought we were the only ones who this happened to. I tried to buy dinner today and I hadn't used my card since the show yesterday and my card had gotten declined as well.
Is there something we could do since there are several us and is there anyone else ?
Just be careful. These people look nice but they pull stunts like this and don't realize how much they hurt others when scamming others. I couldn't get dinner from the card so I withdrew funds from the bank.and now I have to wait on a card to come in the mail.
Not a good spot. I won't be going back.”

“This hotel is a great pick for anyone passing through Columbus, Ohio. With a Shake Shack and a bar right downstairs, you really don’t have to leave the building for anything. The valet service was quick and efficient, and every staff member we interacted with went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect.
We visited over a holiday weekend and expected some chaos, but everything ran incredibly smoothly—a real testament to how well this place is managed. I especially loved that it’s dog-friendly and that you can easily grab a snack or meal without ever stepping outside. The lobby has plenty of cozy spaces to relax and spend time with family or friends, which made it feel even more welcoming.
Overall, a fantastic experience. Five stars all the way—and we’ll definitely be back!”

During seasonal family visits in Worthington, Ohio I’ve found the Crosswoods campus a good source of lodging options. There’s a Sheraton, a Wyndham, a Hyatt Place, and the Holiday Inn Express – Worthington. I booked a room for the Holiday Inn Express for the winter holidays. It’s close to a Bob Evans family restaurant, a cash-only dive bar (the Ruckmoor), a movie theater, a Subway, and assorted restaurants, all within walking distance.
The Holiday Inn Express has been a consistently good choice for me. This time I paid for the one night with 16,000 IHG points, and this included breakfast.
My room was ready early, and I was able to check in around noon. The front desk acknowledged my IHG status and confirmed that with that status my Wi-Fi access was complementary. I found the room clean and comfortable. There was an effective blackout curtain, the bathroom electric outlet included a night-light, and the hotel had evolved, eliminating single-use plastics while retaining hand washcloths.
Couldn’t start the shower without getting wet with cold water, but the hot water came in quickly. Front desk staff members were polite, helpful, and easy to understand. I had an early flight, so I missed breakfast, but in the past I’ve found the assortment of continental offerings sufficient for a decent meal.”

“2nd and 3rd floor needs a make over like the 1st floor got a couple years ago. Other than the pool being closed, it has always been a great location off I-70 @ Hilliard-Rome Road Exit, 10 minutes from downtown and 15 minutes from the Airport.”

“This place maintains their reputation. The only few things I can't give a 5 star is because their beds sunk in (maybe need to turn the foot end to the head end) and the floor had food particles. I asked to borrow a vacuum cleaner to vacuum the whole room and then lint roll to make sure there wasn't any pet hair. The bathroom smelled like someone went #2 and I'm thinking the air vent near the mirror is connected to another room. I ended up spraying my own made linen spray to stop the smell. The room was clean and Julie or Julia did great cleaning, just missed vacuuming.
The front desk service was excellent!

“The room was extremely spacious, making the price feel very reasonable. I was initially unsure about the nearly 5-star rating, but that doubt disappeared as soon as I entered the room. I really appreciated how strictly the smoke-free policy is enforced.
The only small downside was the streetlight right outside my window, which shone quite brightly at night and prevented the room from getting completely dark. That said, it didn’t take away from an otherwise excellent stay. I would happily recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“The breakfast was over ran Sunday morning not enough places to sit a lot of items in the area needed restocked ie coffee cups and utensils. The spoon is so big you can't eat yogurt with it which i know is odd comment but come on. This is an upper end hotel. Also charge 5 dollars for parking, not sure what that covered.”

“I booked my stay last minute and I thought that I was getting a room that looked like the picture online. My room was very outdated but it was decently clean. I did appreciate the level of customer service by everyone that works at the hotel - After I had booked online, I received a call from the manager and he provided me with instructions for when I arrived later that evening since the hotel is not staffed 24 hours and gave me the number and name of the overnight staff that ended up giving me the key to my room and showed me around. While I was disappointed with the lack of upgrades for my room, I did feel that it was clean, quiet and I felt very safe. The location was perfect and there were grocery stores, gas stations, etc. Within walking distance.”

“The place was great. To me it was quiet and relaxing. The acting manager was great. With any place there will be minor things because everyone doesn’t follow the rules especially no smoking. I did smell cigarettes and weed. That is hard to police. I give two thumbs up!Rooms: They were quite sufficient for my needs. The wi-fi was good. Great cable selection. Would consider living there.Food & drinks: There were some nice restaurants nearby and plenty of fast food available.”

“I paid $90 per night, and I was a little nervous that I would be staying in a dive. Nothing could be further from the truth. The rooms in the Olentangy Motor Inn were renovated in 2023. While it is not an elegant hotel, it was an excellent place to stay. The rooms are comfortable. The shower was particularly impressive: adjustable water pressure that could be made high and plenty of hot water. The staff was excellent. I received two texts from management over my four night stay asking about my experience and whether I needed anything. They were very responsive and friendly. This motel is a short drive (about 6 minutes) from the heart of OSU.
The only odd thing was that the office is not labeled as such. You check in at the coffee shop. The hotel desk clerks are also the baristas! I wandered around the building before I entered the coffee shop to ask for guidance.
There is a train track that runs immediately behind the motel. My room was about five from the end and I could hear the train from my room. This did not bother me. Other than the engines, the trains were not very loud. I only noticed them during the day. There are several other hotels in the area and the tracks are close to those hotels too.”
“I base my rating on ms Serena and her customer service. She is so nice all the time and very patient. I can tell she really cares about the people that come through there as me and my family have had to be there for a while now. I do appreciate her and the management team”

“I liked this motel. The price was good, and the location was very good. However, the vending machine could use work. The customer service was okay. Didn't like having to pay $50 up front, but l get it. They're protecting themselves from damage. The room was good, but no one came the day after to clean the room. “Front desk lady was so nice and helpful. Location is close to OSU which I didn't know until we were headed there. Nice size suite. BED WAS AMAZING checkout needed to be late late in the day. Just wanted to enjoy that comfort. Will definitely book again. Hated the drive to get food (Longhorn and back) maybe because we were already tired but we still enjoyed the room.”
