“This was the first time I've shopped here (definitely not the last!), and it was a very good experience! Basically, I walked in and was greeted by a friendly person (with cool tattoos) right away, asking if I needed assistance. I told employee that I have no clue what I'm doing, but was looking to attempt an ambitious project despite my lack of experience. I even pronounced basswood wrong, but they never put me down, or made me feel silly or stupid (I already know what I'm attempting is not going to turn out beautiful, but I still wanna try). The employee then directed me to a couple of locations in the store to get started. After selecting a book for getting started, and the basswood I felt I needed for the project, I went over to look at the carving knives. I had no idea what I was looking at so I got assistance from a 2nd employee who was just as friendly (and had cool hair). This employee helped me pick out 2 basic knives to get me started! Overall a very great experience that is much appreciated by this crazy creative trying to learn new things but just jumping into the deep end! Thank you for making me feel welcome despite how ridiculous my ask probably sounded!!”

“HF tools vary; and it is on you to decide what quality / price trade off is needed for the job. Hands down the Delaware store is amazing. Wildly clean. I don't know what I expected; and I feel embarrassed that I thought it would be messy. A really nice lady walked by to see if I was finding what I wanted. She let me know if the color of jack stand I wanted was not there, there were more up front (it was crazy on sale so this was great info).
At checkout, the super nice lady double checked that my coupons scanned correctly. She checked each price; I mean super cool. She let me know one item had a restocking fee. I can only guess maybe people return it after using...not sure; but no big deal. Like a good old person I brought the coupons printed out; and I am also in the system.
I want to add to anyone reading (as if you would read this); keep the store awesome by being nice back to our fellow humans. We can all have fun together. Of course if HF treats them poorly; that is another problem. We can do our part.
No shade on the other HF locations; but if you are north outside 270; consider a drive to this location. Get a snack and enjoy a cruise on 23. Most stuff you might get on amazon; you can get here for the same or less and you can touch it before buying it. I am still going to overpay for many of my tools; but HF is on my list going forward and especially the Delaware store.”

My dog got spooked in the store, slipped out of this collar, and they locked the front door to prevent him from running out into traffic until I could catch him. “As soon as Dusty heard a request for help over the intercom, he went out of his way to stop what he was working on, in order to provide multiple solutions for the metal spacer that I was looking for. When we couldn’t find the exact fit, he offered to take a larger one and cut it to size. Dusty genuinely cared about me and my needs, and was determined to help me find a solution.

“I just needed some superglue today for a small repair. Parked and began to walk in the store when an employee who appeared to be on break outside asked me if he could help find something. Told me where the glue was and I knew where it was before even walking into the store. Didn't catch his name but he was older and wore a big brown coat.”

“This is by far the best Lowe’s in all of Central Ohio! The workers are so helpful, and the manager Trey was willing to personally deliver a replacement fence panel to us after his shift ended when the original one we purchased was damaged. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. And that’s just how this Lowe’s runs. It’s not even our closest Lowe’s, but it is worth the extra drive!

Then, I called customer service and was on the phone with her for 40 minutes. After the 7th time she wanted me to verify my phone number, I hung up.
I called The home depot nearest to me and reached a fellow by the name of Clayton at the Westerville, Ohio store.
He asked me to come to the store & within 10 minutes, my order is placed and will be delivered tomorrow!
