“This is the best post office branch in Northeast Ohio. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. People forget, but there are parking spots to the side of the post office. Just make a right on that little one-way street, folks! So I’ve never had any issues parking. Now, sometimes the customers are really rude, but the staff are super friendly and kind. I’ve had to do very complex international mailings that really stressed me out, but the staff are unfailingly knowledgeable and helpful!”

“Well folks, I have to say, I’ve never had a better experience in all my years at a post office. I’ve been from Chattanooga to Savannah, Buffalo to Asheville, and back again. I’d say it’s the best this side of the Mississippi, but gosh darnit, it’s the best on the other side too! Not one of those post offices hold a candle to the one in valley city. Hands down the best in the Medina/cuyahoga/lorain region. And I’ll be honest, it’s all because of the gentleman behind the counter. He’s so professional & kind. Younger guy, maybe in his 30s with a Hispanic complexion. Good looking fellow. Other post offices should study him and use him as the model for how post offices should be run.”

He always have a smile and a hello to all the residents and does a great job! He really stands out as someone who loves their job and the people on his route, we need more people like him in this world!”
“I have came over a few times to get mail from po box and the doors are locked when they should be open at 8:30 am going by the hours posted on the door for lobby hrs 6:30am very inconvenient. Please have responsible people for this job.

“I drive from Westlake, past the Westlake post office to come to this location for any mailing needs I have. Friendly staff but more importantly, much faster service than my hometown post office in Westlake. Yesterday I had to wait about five minutes and the guy apologized to me repeatedly.
Can't believe this is a government run place at how efficient it is.”

“I had such an amazing experience with Stephanie at this location today that I genuinely felt compelled to leave a review. First and foremost, she was incredibly kind to every single person in line. I came in close to closing time when it was busy with people getting off work, and she had a line of about five customers—but you would never have known she was under pressure.
She took the time to apologize to each person for the wait, and she did it with such sincerity and warmth. What really stood out was how cheerful and personable she was the entire time. She truly listened, never rushed anyone, and still managed to keep things moving efficiently.
Stephanie completely changed what you expect from a typical post office experience. She even made me laugh, which is not something I ever thought I’d say about mailing something with USPS! She made the whole process of sending out my wedding save-the-dates feel special and stress-free.
I will absolutely be coming back to this location—and honestly, I’ll be hoping Stephanie is there every time. She is exactly the kind of person you want helping with something important. I’m already planning to return to send out my wedding invitations with her. She’s a gem!”

“Actually, this is a great post office. Kisha is a really nice postal worker and customer service professional. The problem is that the management doesn’t properly staff the office, so she’s generally the only person working. We all have to take a lunch break, and she probably has administrative and other duties to take care of, too. This causes the sometimes strange hours.
Congress has drained the finances of the USPS for years and the current postmaster general has accelerated the trend through cuts and consolidation. Please don’t complain about this post office or the worker who staffs it. They have no control over its problems. Complain instead about the government that owns it and the politicians who want to privatize everything.”
“I have no clue why the ratings are so low, except people rarely leave comments, except to complain. The U.S. Postal Service processes and delivers an average of 371.3 million mailpieces daily. Postmaster DeJoy destroyed hundreds of automatic sorting machines in 2020 and those have not been replaced. Think about that when when wondering why packages seem to stay for days at major hub locations that use to have these sorting machines and now everything has to be handled manually by people that don't have any monitoring, because everyone is honest, but I digress.
Today I needed to get my taxes mailed and I wanted a return delivery confirmation. Ruby not only greeted me when I entered, when my time came, she was the person to help me out. She was cheerful, helpful, courteous, and efficient.”

“I had the BEST encounter with a woman named Acy at the post office counter this morning. I was there to purchase a book of stamps. The way that she delivered stellar customer service was quite impressive. I stopped and told her that NOBODY is friendly at a post office counter and NOBODY at the counter has ever given me a binder of choices for a book of stamps. Her binder was organized and intentionally thoughtful. She is a keeper. Such a beautiful spirit in the 8am hour:)”

“Mostly busy location with long lines, especially during peak hours, but that is pretty common for this post office. I usually just drop off my mail and packages, so I cannot say too much about the full customer service experience. Parking is plentiful, although it can fill up quickly during busy times. The building itself is not very large, so when the line gets long it can feel a little cramped inside.
That said, the location is convenient and seems organized considering how many people come through daily. The self-service drop-off area helps make quick visits easier, and the place generally feels clean and well maintained. If you go during non-peak hours, the experience is much smoother.”
