“Hey, there people.
I was at the same event as i just saw another posted that they and their friends had issues with their cards after the post modern jukebox concert. I thought we were the only ones who this happened to. I tried to buy dinner today and I hadn't used my card since the show yesterday and my card had gotten declined as well.
Is there something we could do since there are several us and is there anyone else ?
Just be careful. These people look nice but they pull stunts like this and don't realize how much they hurt others when scamming others. I couldn't get dinner from the card so I withdrew funds from the bank.and now I have to wait on a card to come in the mail.
Not a good spot. I won't be going back.”

“This hotel is a great pick for anyone passing through Columbus, Ohio. With a Shake Shack and a bar right downstairs, you really don’t have to leave the building for anything. The valet service was quick and efficient, and every staff member we interacted with went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect.
We visited over a holiday weekend and expected some chaos, but everything ran incredibly smoothly—a real testament to how well this place is managed. I especially loved that it’s dog-friendly and that you can easily grab a snack or meal without ever stepping outside. The lobby has plenty of cozy spaces to relax and spend time with family or friends, which made it feel even more welcoming.
Overall, a fantastic experience. Five stars all the way—and we’ll definitely be back!”

“We were here for one night to be closer to the airport. I can't stress enough how friendly the check in staff was, how CLEAN the place is. The room size is fantastic, the bathrooms are so spacious. There is soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner provided ans not the tiny bottles. I wish they were all like this.”

“The room was extremely spacious, making the price feel very reasonable. I was initially unsure about the nearly 5-star rating, but that doubt disappeared as soon as I entered the room. I really appreciated how strictly the smoke-free policy is enforced.
The only small downside was the streetlight right outside my window, which shone quite brightly at night and prevented the room from getting completely dark. That said, it didn’t take away from an otherwise excellent stay. I would happily recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Had such a pleasant stay while traveling for work. Rooms were clean and recently updated, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, location was quiet and tucked back off of the main road, fitness center was larger than most and had lots of equipment available. Definitely recommend!”
“I’ve stayed at Motel 6 in Grove City when traveling for years, the rooms and staff were usually pretty good but recently something has changed. I rented a room in July 2025 and the room was filthy, the first thing I smelled when entering the room was marijuana instead of the typical smell of bleach or cleaning supplies, there was pubic hair in the shower, on the bathroom floor and along the base of the toilet, there was a dried liquid stain in the floor of the main area to greet guests entering the room. My wife and I have a habit of traveling with disinfectant wipes to disinfect surfaces most often touched by others such as remotes, table tops, nightstands, and water faucets, but this time we used an entire package of wipes trying to mop the floor and clean the majority of the room. I’ve stayed at this Motel 6 many times in the last decade or so but I think I’ve spent my last night at Motel 6 in Grove City.”
“When we checked in, the front desk person were very helpful in getting and extra night at the same cost as the first night. She also gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner.

“Everything was good, Just after i requested a late check out and they gave it to me, but anyways at the normal check out time the housekeepers knock at my door and almost get into my room, other than that everything was amazing and still i recomend this place a 100%”
“I paid $90 per night, and I was a little nervous that I would be staying in a dive. Nothing could be further from the truth. The rooms in the Olentangy Motor Inn were renovated in 2023. While it is not an elegant hotel, it was an excellent place to stay. The rooms are comfortable. The shower was particularly impressive: adjustable water pressure that could be made high and plenty of hot water. The staff was excellent. I received two texts from management over my four night stay asking about my experience and whether I needed anything. They were very responsive and friendly. This motel is a short drive (about 6 minutes) from the heart of OSU.
The only odd thing was that the office is not labeled as such. You check in at the coffee shop. The hotel desk clerks are also the baristas! I wandered around the building before I entered the coffee shop to ask for guidance.
There is a train track that runs immediately behind the motel. My room was about five from the end and I could hear the train from my room. This did not bother me. Other than the engines, the trains were not very loud. I only noticed them during the day. There are several other hotels in the area and the tracks are close to those hotels too.”
“The place was great. To me it was quiet and relaxing. The acting manager was great. With any place there will be minor things because everyone doesn’t follow the rules especially no smoking. I did smell cigarettes and weed. That is hard to police. I give two thumbs up!Rooms: They were quite sufficient for my needs. The wi-fi was good. Great cable selection. Would consider living there.Food & drinks: There were some nice restaurants nearby and plenty of fast food available.”

“One of the best roadside hotels i've ever stayed in. Very roomy. The pool was large. Clean. Well supplied rooms. The exercise fitness room, it was fully stocked multiple treadmills, cable machine and weights.
They even had extras like free laundry on site. Great for my big family. We'd definitely stay there again”
“Docking a star because the pool isn't operational yet but otherwise for its price point this is a solid stay in the area for its price and will likely be my go-to stay throughout the year when I have business in Columbus and nearby. Rooms are clean and smell great, everything works, Wi-Fi is strong and nearby amenities and places to eat are outstanding. good parking, great staff. quiet. Does not have a business office or meeting space on site if that's one of your needs but without going into elaborate detail, there's a few cheaper hotels nearby but they're cheaper for a reason. Pay the extra and get a stay here instead for a sound night's rest before heading out to wherever you have to in the morning.”
