“My interaction with Superior Credit Union - University was outstanding. I actually stopped to make a quick withdrawal and ended up staying there over an hour updating my accounts. It all started because of the unsolicited but gladly received education on account options from the teller, a very pleasant and zealous young lady, assisting me. My education started with her at drive through teller (I never got her name but my transaction receipt says this 0481 at 1:55pm). First she took care of my pressing business. She was spot on! My education continued after my transaction was ended with Mr. Lee Pennekamp and Mr. Samuel Young. They finished my education and got me through the account upgrades. The education was so good that I spent more time talking with Mr. Pennekamp and Mr. Young. You will be greeted by someone in front which I liken to a triage at the emergency room. This person "helps" you be directed in the right direction. Want to open a new CD at GECU? Uh oh, do you have an appointment? No. Okay, have a seat and go die on the vine. Let's compare CD rates at this writing. GECU, one year jumbo pays 4.75%; Spring Valley Bank 11 month, $10,000 minimum pays 5.4%. Bottom line: Go to Spring Valley Bank today and you will be wowed.”

“This is a great local bank. The staff are great and is the reason I bank here. They tend to know their customers by name and are great to work with. It's a small bank, so the online banking service isn't the greatest but it works just fine, just takes one or two more clicks that other banks sites (the reason for 4 vs 5 stars). No worries about the service however, online bill payments and transfers have always worked just like the huge banks with the expensive fees. If you live near one of these branches, I recommend banking with Peoples. The people and service are great.”

We reached out to a lot of lenders before finally going with this option - they had the best rates and seemed the most trustworthy. “This location is fantastic and the people are extremely helpful. Absolutely the best people at this location. I wish I could rate the customer service and fraud departments because I would give them ZERO. Everything gets dumped on the branch because the customer service departments are totally worthless. I was contacted by the automated line for fraud on my account and during the lengthy delay of being on hold to get an agent (more than 20 minutes) a second fraud charge appeared. I hung up and went to the branch where I knew they would take care of me and they did. Fire the head of the call centers for customer service and fraud departments. They are failing the customer and costing this bank money and added work to the branches and the customer. This has been a reoccurring problem for years since I opened my first account here.”
