Then, they gave me a few running shoe choices and helped me stay within 40mm heel thickness - I’m competing in an Ironman race. I ended up with a 3rd choice (not shown). “I would like to share the positive experience I had shopping here. I recently had surgery and am getting back into adult ballet classes. I have tried taking classes in typical activewear, but I find it impacts my performance. It feels like my movement/turnout is more restricted in traditional activewear, and I can’t see my lines to make corrections. That solidified to me that wearing a leotard is the most functional option. That being said, I was extremely nervous about walking into a dance wear store and trying to find leotards big enough for me.
The staff were extremely helpful with finding my sizes and offering to look up a product if they did not have my size in the store. It truly felt like a nonjudgmental experience which I really didn’t expect. I look forward to going back. This is the only place I will go for my dance wear needs for the foreseeable future. The teenager working there was extremely professional and kind, as well as the other lady who helped me. Thank you so much!”
“After having a not so positive experience at a different store, I walked into this store and a man named Jordan came out and helped me get my usual pair of boots. He made sure we scanned my feet to know exactly which size, and insoles I would need. He recommended a few different insoles, and recommended me a pair for arch support. Overall this interaction was a night and day experience from the other store. I actually found out, for the first time in my life, that I have one foot slightly bigger than the other, I wouldn’t of known that had I not gotten my feet scanned, so Jordan, thank you, you have excellent customer service skills. I for sure will return to this place.”
“Randy is amazing at what he does. You can tell he cares about each clients needs and isn't willing to simply up sell you into something you may not need. I was suffering from plantar fasciitis and he knew exactly the right shoe to eleviate my pain. He took his time finding the exact fit and color combination to meet my needs. “This location is changing their name to DTLR...but they still have the City Gear signs up. This location has way more shoes and clothes than the location in Town & Country out East.
The lady that helped me was so nice and attentive. I sent her in the back for different shoes and different sizes about 10 times and she stayed professional and kept a smile on her face. Her attitude never changed and that was priceless!! We will definitely drive from way out East to the North side for that type of service!! Im sad I didnt get her name but she needed some commission for dealing with me.”

“David's bridal saved me this weekend. Forgot my dress 2 hours away for a wedding that same day. I called DB while en route and spoke to a woman that answered all my questions (through my panicked tears 🙃) and assured me they had what I needed. Arrived and was directed to the section I needed. Found a beautiful dress on clearance at an amazing price and was out the door within 20 minutes. A big shout out to Vi(olet) who was such an angel helping me through this ordeal. 500/10 employee 👍🏻 Recommend to all who need a good dress at a decent price while having a panic attack! Weeee!”
