“Roger Das is the best. He has helped me for years, whether it is just jeans or a tie, or a whole outfit. He knows all his stock and whether it will look good on you even before you try it on. But where he really excels, is with custom made. He has helped me with suits for both my daughters' weddings. Last weekend, I was father of the bride in a custom tuxedo. Roger helped me with every detail. I felt like a million bucks and even got compliments on the day. The fit was perfect and the little custom elements made me feel like I was truly an individual. Roger is great.”

I stopped by this week to get my first pair of running shoes and the owner, Lynn, was so lovely and helpful. She took the time to grab many different shoes for me to try and even examined my stance to find the right shoe for me. She also gave me some really helpful running tips for beginners and was so encouraging. I felt so taken care of as a customer and not rushed at all even though I went right before closing. I had such a great experience here that I felt absolutely terrible when I had to return the shoes I bought because I was unexpectedly gifted a similar pair, but Lynn and Greg were so kind about it.

I will 100% be returning to this store for all my future shoe purchases and running needs and have told my runner friends about it too. I also love how they are not only a store, but they host lots of events and runs and seem to have built a wholesome and welcoming community for runners of all levels. I'm so happy I found this store and got to meet such friendly and lovely people at the start of my running journey. Thank you, Lynn and Greg!”

There are several other extra wide options in the global barefoot market, but unfortunately, there is not a lot available here or in Canada in general.”

“Had the pleasure of meeting Urjani, who took the time to serve me at B2 Eaton Centre as i was trying on footwear, and all she was focused on was ensuring I was comfortable and the fit was right, she listened to all my concerns, and even offered suggestions based on my needs and not what she thought I should do. She advised me to walk around the store and ensure my feet felt right and the comfort was there. She even asked me if i would like some water?! that doesn't happen often, that's true customer service. “I called the store, looking for a pair of shoes and they put them on hold until I arrived a couple hours later. I got the 530s And I’ve been living in them ever since. I walk in them and they are so comfortable. I would highly recommend the store and new balance products in general”

“The very bottom of one of my boots had detached slightly so I visited the store to see if they could be repaired, expecting some glue to be applied which should have done the trick. Instead I was blown away by the great experience I had where I was told it actually falls under the warranty so I walked out with a new set of boots. I couldn't believe it and am so appreciative to the store and manager for doing that, it was such a nice surprise and really made my day/weekend”

“With my Salomon boots having reached the end of their life after 20 years, I was in the market for a bombproof pair to replace them. Having moved out of the GTA and shopped at Sanction when they were Boardzone, was really glad I made the hour trek from north of the city. Showed up with the family, and were pleasantly greeted as soon as we walked through the doors. Making our way downstairs, I was still within earshot of the cash, where I heard a genuine "thanks for shopping at Sanction" to the customers who had just picked up some gear. There was one sales associate who has helping a young couple with some boots/bindings, and it was clear they were very patient in addressing their questions, and walking them through their options. Jack approached me and after sharing with him what I was in the market for, he suggested a few options. I never once felt like I was being "sold" and he offered a number of insights, and was very knowledgeable. True to Sanction's philosophy, it was evident that this shop is "run by riders for riders." In a day when it's easy/convenient to shop online or pop into any big name retail store, there's something to be said about a local shop that offers the latest gear, amazing/approachable/knowledgeable staff, and competitive pricing. “If you are looking for slip-in shoes, especially recommended for your parents or grandparents, Diane , the sales associate at Skechers Eaton Centre will be the right person to look for. Diane was phenomenal as she first tried to understand and listen intently to what we needed. Superb salesperson as she gave us three options ( not too many, not too little). Despite the busy store situation, Diane made us feel important and assisted us every step of the way. Another observation was her kind, respectful and pleasant demeanor. Diane gave us time to try each pair while giving authentic advice for us to make an informed decision. She did not rush us and gave us space to do the shoe fitting, whilst discreetly on standby by assuring us that she was just at the cashier area if we need further assistance. Well, we ended up buying two pairs of shoes.

“Excellent management and superior customer service!! Yesterday (Sunday), I and my 2 friends, we were at this promenade location, we were shopping and suddenly and a very upset, arrogant and rude customer walked into the store, started yelling at employees, I’m not sure what was the issues but then a VERY sweet, professional and knowledgeable (very evidently) a very young brown lady came and super calmly asked the customer to explain the problem for her to be able to provide a solution. However, that customer did not try to understand and hesitate even a bit to make the whole situation worse. (I still feel so bad visualizing it). Cutting that all off, that young brown lady handled the whole situation so well, patiently, sweetly, professionally (keeping all the rules and policy in mind)and MOST IMPORTANTLY, providing the fabulous and effective customer support!! We were so happy seeing it that we wanted to appreciate her efforts to the manager, AND GUESS WHAT, when we asked her, She said she is the Manager on duty (Named “Nan”, sorry if we didn’t spell it right?)!! We got surprised and happy at the same time, hearing that. Clearing, the hiring manager/team did not make any mistake having this young lady on board as a manager and they focused on her skills and abilities NOT AGE! THIS PROVES AGE DOES NOT MATTER TO BE ABLE TO RUN A MANAGEMENT POSITION EFFECTIVELY!! Kudos to you girl! ? She was also very kind enough to help us finding us perfect pairs of dresses and outfits in fitting room. ☺️☺️ Overall, throughout our shopping time, we experienced an excellent customer service and pleasant shopping experience.??”

I entered the store to browse for shoes, as I have been looking for a pair of specific shoes for some months. Despite my looks (after all, I dressed comfortably for driving, not shopping), Sheldon greeted and treated me with utmost respect. He listened to me and was able to help me find exactly what I had been looking for. At no moment I felt rushed nor pressured. I did find what I needed. “I can't say enough good things about John Fluevog Shoes, and the experience we just had at their Toronto Queen Street store took things to the next level. My partner and I are huge Fluevog fans, so we decided to wear our favorite pairs for a full day of walking around the city, 25 kilometers to be exact! And let me tell you, our Fluevogs were incredibly comfy the entire time. No sore feet, no blisters, just pure style and comfort, even after a long day on our feet.

On my first visit we had a nice chat about what I needed in a shoe, and there was a great selection to choose from for wide feet (normally I'd be stuck with the same pair of New Balance).

After my first wear I realized the shoes weren't secure enough. I also realized I'd lost the receipt, but I decided to go back anyway. They were kind enough to offer me a different model that was still a great fit and provided better support.”
