Had a silverfish problem and found traps to catch em and now my problem is taken care of! The staff is a literal encyclopedia of all things hardware and how to fix and replace anything. This place rocks.”

“Maybe the best hardware-store service in Toronto.Love this little store and its staff.Always helpful and ready to help you find whatever you need - and for such a small store, it has a lot of things you might not expect to find there (we found a great pepper mill/grinder) there are Lightbulbs, hardware, keys, duct tape, nails, fixtures, tools and tool belts, gloves… ?The prices may be a bit higher than some other [unnamed bargain] stores, but the friendly helpful service makes up for that - especially if you need some assistance or advice.Highly Recommend if you want a good old fashioned hardware store.”

“This is a hardware store where I find the employees genuinely enjoy being there. I feel like a person; I was asked twice if I need help even though the store is relatively small and easy to navigate. “Great selection of items in a residential neighbourhood. But the big thing I love about Bastone is their key cutting. I have had keys cut at Walmart so many times and they never actually work. Here the keys are cut perfectly the first time, every time.”

“Old school Home Hardware in old school Toronto building. Old floors and narrow isles packed with as much product as they can jam in there. It's a classic Toronto experience in local neighbourhood kind of way. The folks working here are great. They will help you find what you are looking for. You can also order items that are not stocked in this store. These people actually answer the phone unlike big box stores. Overall this is a great Home Hardware Store with mostly great employees.”

“ADH carries an excellent selection of high quality cabinet and door hardware. JJ was extremely friendly and helpful in assisting us make our door hardware selection for our new home. He took the time to answer all our questions and provide expert recommendations on what would best fit our design, lifestyle and budget while never being pushy. He also personally confirmed that we had all the required components for a proper installation.The only downside is that the hardware will likely last so long we won't have the pleasure of working with JJ again unless we build another house.”

“Compared to Home Depot and Cdn Tire nearby, this Rona store has the best customer service. After we asked a staff member about certain Christmas lights, the staff came looking for us to make sure we were able to find the item. This never happens at Home Depot or Cdn Tire. This Rona store is very well organized and all items are so nicely displayed. It’s such a better shopping experience than the chaos at other home hardware stores.”
