“Update: still won't use self check out. I love the staff here and enjoy the checkout banter. Extra star for alcohol convenience now. They need better hot food items, like chippewa foodland. Take away foods that people actually like.
I like this store because it's close. The staff are good and I feel relaxed shopping here. I don't understand getting so many self checkouts. A small LCBO like they have in so many other locations would have brought me here more often.”

“A wonderful little store that sells almost everything you might need from cleaning supplies to naphtha camping fuel at competitive prices. Beyond that, it's run by two of the kindest people I may have ever met. They always ask about my baby daughter and my day. From my first day in Welland they made me feel like a part of the community. “The Welland Zehr's usually has what I need and I have had only pleasant experiences with staff. During the winter I often purchase strawberries and they usually have Ontario greenhouse grown - so much better than the California berries. Still there are so many options to get exactly what you want. The staff in the bakery section are always helpful and polite when I opt to get the freshest just baked bread. The online shopping service for $3 weekdays and $5 weekends affords the opportunity to shop without ever entering the store. Fresh produce, a vast array of meats and seafood, and lots of weekly specials. It is also one of the very few stores with a staff member outside counting customers as they enter and then pausing when the guidelines have been met. Perfect!!”

“My main grocery store. Sally is the best cashier, but bakery workers are awful don't bother. Super rude. Only 1 older lady with white hair who is amazing at bakery, rest should be fired, just awful people.”
“The Pen Centre is always busy. There is everything u need including Zehrs. I like Zehrs as I can get things here thst i cant get in the states and come back often. Go and check it out. U wont leave empty handed.”

“This is our regular grocer. Their prices beat all the competition in the area and we can often get our groceries for less than we expected. Their selection or foreign products is also extensive, it allows us to experiment and experience groceries the world round. We regularly interact with their stocker Cameron and he is a joy to speak to.”
“Last week, the manager and the person who answered my best friend's call went above and beyond. Sometimes life can be so challenging. Last week, a grocery order with some missing items was just too much after an unbelievably hard week. Thank you for being so kind on the phone and making sure she got her order. It may seem so basic, but it was beautiful and so helpful for someone who is having the hardest of times right now. Thanks for the reminder that this world has good, good people in it.”
