“Big store with lots of parking. Great amount of different vegetables & fruits (always look fresh). Amazing choices for fresh meats: Chicken, turkey, pork and beef (sausages and some uncooked prepared items available). Big choice of deli products and some prepared meals available(tried cabbage rolls and pierogis - delicious). Overall great store with majority of fresh items from farms. Love it, always my go to store, just don’t go to close to closing time as majority of stuff will be already put away.”

“My 1st visit here I was tempted by all the delicious items around me. Picked up a bag full of goodies, including non-alcoholic beer, vegan chocolate, all 3 fixings of Momofuku noodles and gave myself a day off from cooking and ordered the Fam Jam. Delicious, delicious, delicious!!!!”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Place is super clean. Hot Food is delicious and a decent price. Produce Meats and Fish are all very fresh. The check out area can get very crowded. There is just no place to stand. Cashiers are still very quick. Dining area available. The bakery always has super fresh items and smells amazing.”

“Great place! I have been shopping here for years. Excellent prices, great variety. My only complaint though, is your breakfast sausages. I honestly have to say they are probably the worst ones I have ever tasted. They have no distinctive seasoning or flavors in them at all... Just salty hot dogs are all I taste when I have eaten them. I dont remember them being like this until recently... Has the recipe changed at your manufacturing location?”

“I was shopping at this store today and when I got home I realized my bill seemed too high. I didn't have my receipt because the girl forgot to give it to me. When I got there I explained that I thought my bill seemed high. I talked to a cashier I thought had helped me and she was Very rude. A lovely young lady with long braids ( another cashier) came to help and found my receipt. The manager also came over and they found the mistake quickly and refunded my money. They were so helpful and kind. The rude cashier came over again before I left and was raising her voice and being rude again. I shop there often and the staff is always really helpful and friendly. I don't think the rude cashier should be working with the public when she can't represent the store in a positive way. She should be working shifts after hours so she doesn't have to interact with customers.”

“The Welland Zehr's usually has what I need and I have had only pleasant experiences with staff. During the winter I often purchase strawberries and they usually have Ontario greenhouse grown - so much better than the California berries. Still there are so many options to get exactly what you want. The staff in the bakery section are always helpful and polite when I opt to get the freshest just baked bread. The online shopping service for $3 weekdays and $5 weekends affords the opportunity to shop without ever entering the store. Fresh produce, a vast array of meats and seafood, and lots of weekly specials. It is also one of the very few stores with a staff member outside counting customers as they enter and then pausing when the guidelines have been met. Perfect!!”

“I went in to Sobeys on Friday to get their cinnamon buns that they make in store. That are so good and have become a weekend tradition. There wasn't any out at the time I went in. But both girls working Friday at around noon. Went above and beyond to get me some. Bravo girls fantastic customer service. And thank you we again really enjoyed them. A must try for anyone who hasn't try them. Yummy ?”

“Pretty much shop here weekly. As far as grocery store chains go it's rather typical. What makes this store exceptional is the friendly staff! They work hard to assist and help you find items and are willing to explain any reason why something is out or in short supply. The store is clean and the cashiers efficient. They always ask if you have a scene card and will mention how much you saved using it. Clearly this is a well managed store and has earned my patronage.”

“We frequently buy our groceries here but today (WedJan31) at checkout #1 at 11:45am (I didn't catch her name) the associate was the best. I've had a lot of very friendly staff at this location but the woman today stood out! She was personable and kind, and even the other customer ahead of us left smiling and we all had a chat whilst loading up our groceries!Even said the cutest thing as we left "Keep on smiling you guys!" An Absolute Sweetheart!”
