“I had an amazing shopping experience at H Mart and it’s easily my favorite Korean supermarket! The store is incredibly well-organized, spacious, and spotlessly clean, making it a pleasure to browse for hours. The selection of authentic Korean groceries is outstanding—from fresh kimchi, banchan, and a huge variety of gochujang and sauces to premium cuts of meat, seafood, and an impressive produce section with hard-to-find Asian vegetables and fruits, all looking incredibly fresh.
The prepared foods and hot food bar are a highlight: the banchan counter offers so many delicious options, the fried chicken is crispy and flavorful, and the kimbap and tteokbokki are made fresh daily. I also love the bakery section with warm hodduk and red bean pastries—perfect for a quick treat. The ramen aisle alone is worth the visit, with brands and flavors you won’t find anywhere else.
What truly sets H Mart apart is the friendly and helpful staff. Every employee I encountered was polite, knowledgeable, and eager to assist, whether it was helping me find a specific ingredient or offering cooking suggestions. The checkout process was quick and efficient, even during busy hours.

“This is my favorite Asian supermarket in the area. They have a huge variety of snacks and instant noodles, and the store is always clean and well-organized. The fruits, vegetables, and meats are all very fresh. The only thing missing is a hot food section, but it’s not a big issue since there’s a famous food court right next door, which makes it super convenient.”

“Kourosh supermarket is our favorite grocery store and one of the best Persian supermarkets in Ontario. The staff are very professional, friendly, and polite. They have a wide variety of Persian (and non-Persian) products. Their pastry and deli sections provide very fresh and delicious desserts and foods, too.”

Their bakery department as well as their selection of cheeses and soups are very impressive. Certainly not the cheapest place to shop but one of the nicest. “This is specifically reviewing the montreal roast sandwich!
This sandwich is MEATY my goodness! For the classic low costco price and the amount of meat and an added on pickle, you can't beat a soon-to-be classic like this that's for sure. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a drink and you'll have to buy the hot dog + drink item
Overall I think it's pretty filling especially if you eat the whole pickle, I don't think you'll find any sandwich that can compete with this deal”

“Skip the popular Diana’s seafood merchants and get your fresh off the plane from Newfoundland lobster here. Their store is everything on a down east shopping list. The lobster prices are very affordable. I got mine precooked(they need some notice ) piping hot from the steamer. My family has been shopping here for 50plus years. Their is a reason they are still in business all this time. Get your lobsters here. Guaranteed fresh with the he best price.”

“My family and I have been coming here for many years now. It is the only place we buy our freshly made frozen meats and meals. The owner is very helpful and will explain to you how to cook each item that you choose to purchase. The quality of ingredients used is top notch and not filled with all those extra fillers you would find at other shops. I will not go anywhere else except to Lin's Taste. My father loves the GIANT siu mai here and the tofu skin rolls filled with shrimp is a personal favourite. Remember to bring cash ! They speak Cantonese and Mandarin here as well. I can not read Chinese but they have the menu in English which I am so grateful for. Support a local small business that is woman owned. I look forward to my visits each time.”
