My dog Mochi absolutely loves her and she really takes the time to understand and be personable with us. I trust her completely with not only the grooming process but her care and wellbeing. My dog dealt with severe separation anxiety, and anxiety in general and Liz has always stayed patient with her and never rushed through her time. This is a private groom where they are 1:1 together which makes me feel so much better than other public grooms. My dog Mochi always comes out looking beautiful and happy and I cannot thank Liz enough for the care she puts into not only my dog but her others as well.

185 Thickson Rd, WhitbySadly, Katie has sold the shop and moved on. We were just there for a dog grooming and they did a good job, but not a Katie great cut.
Apparently the shop is owned by a third party who is not a groomer with hired staff. The staff are wonderful and friendly though.
The cost of grooming for our dog has increased significantly with the new owner.

She always listens to what I’m looking for with his haircut, and I love that she remembers the little things, like how he can’t have beef treats.
Most importantly, Taco LOVES coming here! He’s never stressed when we arrive and is always so happy to be there and play with Betty. I also really love that there are no crates, which makes the whole experience feel so much more relaxed and comfortable for him.
I’m so happy we found Collette and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer who truly cares about their dogs! ❤🐾

We recently brought home two new kittens and have had some very stressful health concerns arise, and the care we received from both Dr. Sherry and Dr. Friendship has been exceptional.
They have both been extremely upfront, direct, compassionate, and supportive throughout the entire process. I especially appreciated their honesty and willingness to clearly explain what was happening medically, while still being kind and empathetic during a very emotional situation.
At no point did I feel dismissed or rushed. They took my concerns seriously, answered my questions thoroughly, and genuinely seemed to care about the wellbeing of the animals as well as the emotional toll on their owners.
The staff has also been wonderful, accommodating, and responsive during a difficult week. I would absolutely recommend Thickson Animal Hospital to anyone looking for knowledgeable, caring, and trustworthy veterinary care.

After a scary allergic reaction my dog experienced, Dr. Afshari was flexible, diligent and put my dogs needs first despite a busy schedule. He went above and beyond to make sure my dog had the care he needed and to make sure I was okay as well. He even personally called to check in and make sure my dog was stable and doing well. This place is a gem. Their Alfredo pasta is so good and creamy. We got a Caesar salad and it was huge and so yummy. The Parmesan tasted like real Parmesan cheese. Then I also have to commend the staff! I asked for something not on their menu and they made it just for me (and really well for something not on the menu)!

We ended up sharing the chicken tender platter, and good thing we did because it’s a lot of food.
We ended up getting their cucumber salad, the BHG salad, and hush puppies with extra sauces on the side.
This was my first time trying hush puppies, I didn’t even know what they were, but I don’t think I’m a fan. Everything else did taste pretty good! They do charge for extra sauces, and the food was a little saltier than I was anticipating.
