Nate is very anxious, yet Eric is extremely patient with him. I really, really appreciate that. He also always does such a fantastic job grooming Nate, and always has availability for us! My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and were craving some pasta. I came across La Grotta on Google Maps and made a reservation online, mentioning that my wife is pregnant and that we would appreciate comfortable seating.
When we arrived, Neil greeted us warmly and brought us to a table with cushioned seats, which my wife really appreciated. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, recommending some of their best dishes and checking on us throughout the evening without ever being intrusive.
Everything we ordered was delicious. My personal favorite was the grilled truffle calamari. The carbonara was excellent, the spaghetti pescatore was very good, and the pizza was also delicious. Everything had its own unique flavor compared to the other restaurants we usually visit, but in the best way. We only wish we had more room to try even more dishes but we were already so full!
To top off the evening, Neil surprised us with a complimentary chocolate cake for our anniversary, and it was delicious as well.
I believe great service deserves to be recognized, so I want to thank Neil for making our anniversary dinner extra special. This was our first visit to La Grotta, but it certainly won’t be our last.

186 Main St Unionville, UnionvilleWent yesterday evening, extremely busy but very lively. Food took a hit to get there, but we had apps and the free bread to keep us sustained for awhile. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the calamari tasted amazing. We ordered the parpadelle funghi pasta, and even that tasted great. Although the pasta was good, I didn't really like how bitter and mushroomy it tasted, but if u like mushrooms it would be a good idea. Overall. The atmosphere was good, although it was pretty dark.
