Through our conversation with him, he helped steer us towards two more wineries later that day to complement the already fantastic wines and experience we started our day with. Our pup was also welcome inside and outside and we were able to walk through the vineyard as well Will go back the next time we are in town!

Lemelson Vineyards
12020 NE Stag Hollow Rd, CarltonOur first visit to Willamette Valley on our fist day we decided to take a ride down to the coast, ended up on an amazing hike, visited the beach and stopped at a local seafood place in Manzanita and happed upon the most wonderful glass of Lemelson Pinot Noir. I immediately took a picture of the wine name to research later. We visited the vineyard the very next day, had a wonderful experience and as expected enjoyed every sip from our tasting. We are now proud Lemelson wine club members and couldn’t be more thrilled. I am a huge fan of Pinot Noir and this is some of the best. Our tasting experience was just as wonderful, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, we had the best time relaxing by the fire and sipping on wine. This is a must stop when visiting the Willamette Valley!

116 W Main St, CarltonIncredible experience. Had the place to ourselves on a Thursday afternoon. Ray the manager of Craft guided us through the tasting and even gave us some extra wines to try as well. He was charming and gregarious and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If your in North Willamette you need to go to Craft, a definite must stop in Carlton

They take pride in having fuller bodied and fruitier wines that aren't necessarily as peppery and light as other Pinot's. They are masters of their craft, and I feel are some of the best wines Oregon produces.

00198423, CarltonDidn't expect much from a food truck in the middle of nowhere but Mayla Thai surprised the heck out of me and might be one of the better thai meals I've had in a while. I had the pad thai, masaman curry and the egg rolls and all were really solid and the egg rolls were the best I've had in a while (and I don't really love egg rolls typically). All of Carlton's restaurants in Carlton are so good but Mayla Thai is up there as one of my favorites. It doesn't look like much and has short hours so would definitely check opening times and call to see if she's open.
