Lemelson Vineyards

Our first visit to Willamette Valley on our fist day we decided to take a ride down to the coast, ended up on an amazing hike, visited the beach and stopped at a local seafood place in Manzanita and happed upon the most wonderful glass of Lemelson Pinot Noir. I immediately took a picture of the wine name to research later. We visited the vineyard the very next day, had a wonderful experience and as expected enjoyed every sip from our tasting. We are now proud Lemelson wine club members and couldn’t be more thrilled. I am a huge fan of Pinot Noir and this is some of the best. Our tasting experience was just as wonderful, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, we had the best time relaxing by the fire and sipping on wine. This is a must stop when visiting the Willamette Valley!

Incredible experience. Had the place to ourselves on a Thursday afternoon. Ray the manager of Craft guided us through the tasting and even gave us some extra wines to try as well. He was charming and gregarious and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If your in North Willamette you need to go to Craft, a definite must stop in Carlton

Mayla Thai

Didn't expect much from a food truck in the middle of nowhere but Mayla Thai surprised the heck out of me and might be one of the better thai meals I've had in a while. I had the pad thai, masaman curry and the egg rolls and all were really solid and the egg rolls were the best I've had in a while (and I don't really love egg rolls typically). All of Carlton's restaurants in Carlton are so good but Mayla Thai is up there as one of my favorites. It doesn't look like much and has short hours so would definitely check opening times and call to see if she's open.

I had the pleasure of tasting Tendril wines at my local wine bar a few years ago and loved them. This is my 2nd time ordering a case of wine from them, the customer service is great and the wine is fantastic. The Chard bubbles and Tightrope Pinot are my favorites.
