Pet Stores & Supplies
Mud Bay
2540 NE 106th Ave, HillsboroThis a great store near me. My dog and I walk there to get his single ingredient jerky treats that I haven’t found at other pet stores. The people are very helpful and my dog feels much more comfortable than at a huge store.

Puppernickel
244 E Main St, HillsboroGreat local shop. They have fresh pupcakes and tons of clothing. 99% of their items are small business or locally sourced so expect to pay a little more but everything is quality and is worth the price. If you don't want to go to hillsboro catch their pupcakes at the beaverton farmers market on Saturdays

Pacific Pets
528 SE Baseline St, HillsboroI've been coming to Pacific Pets for almost 4 yrs. I moved to Beaverton two years ago and I still drive over here to give them business. I just called the store to let them know my Pomeranian was not eating this dog food in a tube I bought five large rolls a couple months ago. Juda said, "bring what you have left and we'll refund all of it no worries." This is why I give them my business this right here.

Nature's Pet Market Orenco Station
1330 NE Orenco Station Pkwy, HillsboroMy husband and I stopped by at this pet store today 01/07/24 on our way home from our two senior dogs veterinary appointment at Frontier Veterinary Hospital. We bought a road snack for our two senior dogs to share and a Yeow catnip rainbow kicker toy for our cats. The store associate was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. This is our first time shopping at the Orenco Station and we have shopped at the Beaverton, Sherwood and McMinnville location. I will attest that our interactions with the store associates with each aforementioned city has been positive. The store associate left a good impression on both me and my husband. We will definitely come back to shop at this pet store again in the future. Kudos to Olivia the cashier that rang our two purchases today. Keep up the awesome customer service!

2725 E Main St, HillsboroMy dog got a good cut. Quick. It is esthetically just really run down looking...not sure the quality of tools being used or cleanliness, but like I said- good haircut still.I personally just don't think the atmosphere and the groomers' personality quite match with me.

Paws Rehab
1800 NE 25th Ave Ste 17, HillsboroWe had our first visit at Paws and my puppy, Scout is always excited to go to new places. He was interested and a little nervous once we headed for the underwater treadmill but Diane took it slow and talked to Scout taking their time for the treatment. Scout did fine and seemed to be ok during his very first visit. Diane was with him the whole time. We are excited to see how this helps Scouts pain and hoping he is as excited as we are about going back.

Herrold Stables,LLC
32900 SW Wohler St, HillsboroMy mom had surprised me with a riding lesson when I was 10. I was so exited and ready to learn how to ride! I thought it would be a one time thing but no.My first lesson i rode a pony named Bob. He is a grumpy boy but also very silly and sweet and riding him made me so happy! Elaine was very patient and amazing at teaching!I didn't want to leave this place forever, so I asked my mom to have more lessons and I don't regret it because herrold stables is like a second home to me now. I love riding my favorite horse, Trixie ? and all the other wonderful horses there! It's been two years and now i go as many times as I can a week and stay to help out with the lessons and the horses because i cant get enough!! Thank you herrold stables, I dont know where I would be without you. And thank you Elaine:) you are amazing teacher.

Schroeder's Den
2110 NE Aloclek Dr, HillsboroWe began bringing our dogs here at the recommendation of our trainer, to help with excess energy and socialization. It's been several months of our one dog attending three days a week and the results are great!Meadow and her staff work on appropriate behavior throughout the day and the mental and physical stimulation is clearly benefiting our crazy girl. I love that we can also see what she's up to during the day by following their social media, where they post numerous photos and videos during the day. We've been so happy with the results so far, we began bringing our other dog on alternate days!If you're looking for a place for your four legged friend to learn some manners and appropriate behavior with other dogs, or to just give them more mental /physical stimulation and socialization, look no further..... This place has it all (for very reasonable rates to boot).

Helvetia Vineyards & Winery
23269 NW Yungen Rd, HillsboroWe had a lovely visit to the Winery. Derrick was very welcoming and knowledgeable regarding the wines. The wines were enjoyable, mostly Pinot noirs but the merlot was excellent, too. The best part was sitting in a lovely homey atmosphere by a wood stove and having a relaxing afternoon.

The Meating Place
6585 NW Cornelius Pass Rd, HillsboroLove this place. The meat quality is outstanding and the owners are sweet as can be. I wish more people would get their meat here than the plastic fake shiz walmart tries to sell you. The taste n texture alone is worth the extra few bucks. I rather rat here once a month then get 3 meals of meat from.a chain store. ❤️❤️❤️

Oak Knoll Winery
29700 SW Burkhalter Rd, HillsboroSuch good pricing for amazing wines! Really nice family atmosphere too, got to play some pool with my visiting family. The lady working there was so welcoming as well and enthusiastic about not only the wine but the history of the winery. We left with over 7 bottles of wine due to such great deals and diversity of flavors that made everyone at the table happy, including those who normally didn't like wine!

Mister Tacos
6163-6189 SE Tualatin Valley Hwy, HillsboroBREAKFAST BURRITO - Ordered the sausage & bacon one. $11.25 each and huge, next time we will have to share just one because neither of us could finish ours. On the board, it says “with hashbrowns“ which I do not like. As it turns out it had chunks of potato instead, which I do like. We liked everything about the breakfast burrito except for the sausage. Next time we will order it with just the bacon, which was not underdone in limp, but fried perfectly crisp as it should be. This is the second time we have ordered here and we remembered right away that the sausage had a nasty taste to it. We finally decided that the only way we can describe the taste is kind of soapy taste. we just picked up the sausage pieces and the rest was very tasty.

Hondo Dog Park
4499 NE Century Blvd, HillsboroOn the surface I want to say this is a dog park like any other. It has 3 fenced areas and a water spout. Pretty standard.I should note that literally every other dog park that I've been to in Oregon has a problem: people bring dogs there that should NOT be there. Aggressive dogs, dominant dogs, aggressive humans.Hondo Dog Park is the only dog park in this general area where I have not yet experienced danger from dogs nor humans. This feels like it should be pretty standard, but here we are. Just plain "not a problem" is a 5 star review.

Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals
1853 NE Cornell Rd Ste C, HillsboroWe recently adopted our pup Scoot ("Bear") from OFOSA and he makes my husband and I so happy! He's such a sweet and smart dog. The adoption process was excellent -- we were able to take our time to make a decision and got to have a whole day interacting with him to make sure we were a good fit for each other. His foster mom Kathleen was very kind and you could tell she loves and cares for all the dogs under her care. Scoot has brought so much joy into our lives in such a short amount of time :)
