I had a great time walking around the vineyards with Rob, and they accommodated me with a tour of the winery and the cellars. Easily one of my favorite wineries to visit while in Oregon, especially for their organically farmed and beautifully nuanced expressions of Pinot Noir and other varietals.

Ray the manager of Craft guided us through the tasting and even gave us some extra wines to try as well. He was charming and gregarious and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If your in North Willamette you need to go to Craft, a definite must stop in Carlton

He also did a great job explaining all about the wines and ensured we all had a great time. Infact Tony, the owner showed up and spent time with us. Of the 700+ wineries in the valley, this needs to be your first stop. Thank you for the great memories.

#00198423, CarltonDidn't expect much from a food truck in the middle of nowhere but Mayla Thai surprised the heck out of me and might be one of the better thai meals I've had in a while. I had the pad thai, masaman curry and the egg rolls and all were really solid and the egg rolls were the best I've had in a while (and I don't really love egg rolls typically). All of Carlton's restaurants in Carlton are so good but Mayla Thai is up there as one of my favorites. It doesn't look like much and has short hours so would definitely check opening times and call to see if she's open.

120 N Pine St, CarltonWhile I’ve had the chance to enjoy a few of their single-vineyard wines before, it was especially insightful to take a step back and really explore the differences between the Eola-Amity Hills AVA and the Yamhill-Carlton AVA side by side.
At the restaurant I work at, we’ve been pouring their Willamette Valley Pinot for years, so it was great to broaden that perspective and taste through a wider range of vineyard sites. The experience added a lot of depth and context to wines I already appreciated, always a bonus when familiar producers can still surprise you.

Gluten Free options, bread is a great quality and doesn't fall apart when eating a sandwich! Local wines are on the menu too! Highly recommend this little gem!! Enjoy!!
