“I have been to the REI stores in multiple states and I’ve been in REI Member since 1991. I have to say this is the most friendly store around. My spouse was working at D1D and I didn’t have a raincoat and I had the pleasure of going to the store with the most friendly employees that are so helpful. I just couldn’t believe it. They helped me out with that raincoat, but their service was just phenomenal. I really loved my visit to Oregon as well. What a beautiful, friendly state and what a wonderful store so helpful and flight it is the top. it meant that we could make a trip to Cannon Beach and see Haystack rock and walk in the rain. It’s one of the most beautiful memories. I have thank you REI to making that Possible.”
“Excellent service with quality work. While military uniforms are not their main sales, they were able to add patches EXACTLY the way I requested. They were also able to hem new dress pants (maybe cut them too as they were way too long). I had provided the length I wanted and had another person drop them off. I was a bit busy to walk in for measurements, but the pants fit just right!”
“I want to give a major shout out to Shabrea at the Famous Footwear in The Esplanade (Forest Grove, OR). She gave us the best customer service I’ve ever had at a retail store in my 45 years on this planet. I was so moved by her attention to us that I came back the next day to get her name and ask if there was a way to give her recognition, but she said no because she was an assistant manager. So I’m doing a google review in hopes that she and anyone she works for sees this. And to any other customers I’m sure you will find her service as welcoming, helpful and kind as well. In general, I’ve only had good experiences at this location, but Shebrea is a solid employee and you are lucky to have her.”
“I was very, very lucky today. I was looking for Salomon trail shoes, but they did not have my size. I have size 14, so those Salomons did not work out. But one of the employees remembered they had some Merrell's in size 14. And guess what: the fit like a glove. And it gets better: because these were on discount which was $8! That's less than a buck per toe! And I went out to the Latourell falls for testen and they worked like a charm. So thanks Dick's!!”
