15800 Southwest Upper Boones Ferry Road Suite 120, Lake OswegoDr Lucy Tongen was amazing. We have been struggling with our cats for a while with over grooming and bald patches that turn raw. We had done everything our regular vet recommended so we decided it was time to seek out more specialized care.
From the minute we walked in the door here it was amazing. They had a chalkboard in the clinic that had our cats name and welcoming all the other pets of the day, we thought that was super cute and thoughtful.
Once we saw the doc she did a very through exam and talked with us in depth about what had been going on. She listened to our concerns. The doc then used the whiteboard in the room and visually and verbally explained what the possibilities were, treatment options, side affects, and possible future treatments. The appointment was scheduled just for 1 hour but we probably spent closer to 1.5 hours with the doc which was incredible, she answered every single question we could have.
Another thing we really appreciated was that they were upfront about costs. A lot of vets will say hey we want to run this other test, go run it, come back and say and that will be $500. Here they were very upfront about what they were doing, why they wanted to run the other test, the possible outcomes from doing this test, and how treatment plans could change based on the test. They then gave us the price estimate with and without this test so we could make an informed decision.
I am very very happy with the treatment here and we will continue to follow up here as needed and will recommend to everyone who might be struggling.

15800 Southwest Upper Boones Ferry Road Suite 300, Lake OswegoMy cat and I had an exceptional experience with Emma and Dr. Otten. The transparency, communication, and thoroughness gave me a peace of mind and understanding of what was going on.
I took my 9 y/o M cat with stage 2 CKD because of the extra care that would be given with consideration to his kidneys. Dr. Otten was extremely thorough in his preliminary exam appointment, as well as procedure day. I was given a quote that was 100% transparent with a range that depended on what was found the day of the cleaning. On the actual procedure day, the clinic spoke to me to discuss the anesthesia plan, again to let me know the procedure would be starting soon, an update on how the cleaning went, and then once again to discuss the plan as feline tooth absorption was found.
My cat ended up needing 2 extractions which is something he's never had done before, and the level of detail given was exactly what gave me peace of mind to know he would be okay (both with the procedure, and post-op). I was given detailed instructions on what to expect for post-op care, and was able to see all images and x-rays taken day of. My other cat does not have any underlying conditions, but the level of care and thoroughness alone makes me want to bring her here for her next cleaning too!

Great flavor and value in an area where far more basic burritos with less fresh ingredients run $15-$20 a piece. These burrito are HEFTY. Highly advise the fajita burrito.
Also their salsa bar is one of the best I’ve seen. Highly advise the fire roasted one but they’re really all delicious. Even the spiciest one has a ton of flavor while most places just give raw heat.
