1814 SW 42nd St, PendletonDr. Mitchell has been the ONLY vet for my animals for several years. She was recommended to my by my neighbor when I moved to town many, many years ago. She worked at a local vet office that we hadn't heard good things about, but because the neighbor kept insisting she was fantastic, we made an appointment. The neighbor was right -Dr. Mitchell is a fantastic vet! She takes the time to explain things thoroughly and get to know you and your pet. She's got her own office set up in a mobile trailer so you're not stuck waiting for 15 minutes in a crowded waiting room. She provides personalized service and my pup is crazy about her. Her prices are affordable, the service is personalized and we've never seen her without a smile on her face and a treat in her hand. My pup is CRAZY about her and because she has a different sort of set up for her office, there's none of the pre-vet jitters....

Hal's Hamburgers
2001 SE Court Ave, PendletonI loved going to Hal's with my parents when I was a kid. Even though I live in N.Idaho now, I still make the trip to Pendleton when I come "home" to visit. Hands down, the best burger I have ever had. That's really saying a lot because I have been to some really good burger places. I've even been to Big Kahuna Burger and everyone knows they do have some tasty burgers. I'll never forget the 1st time I took my son to Hal's. He is 21 now. He was about 12 at the time. To this day, we have been back together and he still says it's the best burger he has ever had. It's not really a trip to Pendleton until you stop here.

370 S Main St, PendletonWe have been here before and loved the experience. Was in town and had to stop again. We started with the Fried Tofu w/ Peanut Sauce as an appetizer. Be advised the peanut sauce is NOT VEGAN so ask for sweet chili sauce as a substitute. We enjoyed the Vegan Pho, Teriyaki Tofu w Rice & Salad Rolls w/ added avocado and tofu (get sweet chili sauce). Overall, very enjoyable. We asked about the yellow and red curries but they do add fish sauce to the curry so that is not suitable for vegans. They are happy to check on everything for you but make sure of everything before you order. Updated from previous review on 2025-11-08

The steak is fantastic quality and the chef does a great job preparing it just right. Service has always been wonderful, and the view from the dining area is hard to beat! I would highly recommend!

225 SW 9th St, PendletonStayed overnight in Pendleton on a trip and was hungry for pizza. Big John's did not disappoint. The crust was so soft and flavorful, the sauce was perfect and the toppings were fresh with just the right amount of cheese. We also had the cheesy bread sticks...wow!!! Everything was delicious.

205 SW 12th St, PendletonToday was unusual. The wait was long & the coffee wasn't very hot (I ask for extra hot) and it clearly had no flavorings added. It tasted like coffee with milk added. On a normal day, even what looks like a long line goes super fast & the drinks are always great. I guess off days happen but DB is still the BEST for the caffeine splurge.
