“I have been using this facility for the past 7 years. My access has always been 24 hours and I've been in and out of the units at all times of day. Jerry, the manager, has treated me and my colleagues with the utmost respect. He is genuine and truly cares about his customers. The prices at this facility (which are not mandated by Jerry) are a bit high but you're getting (1) security, (2) cleanliness, and (3) EXCELLENT service.With regards to a previous review about people sleeping in front of the store, this IS Portland so one will see vagrants at times walking the streets. However, I've never seen someone living out of a unit here, let alone sleeping in front of the store. I've witnessed Jerry approach those who were "hanging out" in front of the store and even THEN he's still courteous!Will you find a storage unit that is cheaper than this one? More than likely. But the old saying is true: "you get what you pay for." You won't find another unit around that cares about you and your property, accepts your shipments for your business, has 24 hour access and keeps the facility spotless! I've had to use a number of units around Portland, Salem and Eugene for my business and have never been treated as well as I have at Jerry's South Waterfront!”

“When I pulled up with my uhaul, I had no idea where to go. I drove around looking for my unit and didn’t see the number and was getting frustrated. Christine came over to assist me and showed me that my unit was inside. She kindly showed me how to reach it, walked me to it and showed me where the carts were to help me unload.She also showed me how to keep the building doors open so they wouldn’t keep shutting on me between loads. She was very helpful and genuinely kind. The entire time she was helping me, she was also picking up every little piece of trash or debris that people had left behind or that had blown around. I’ve had several units with PS (Seattle, Sacramento) and this is the nicest, cleanest one with the friendliest staff I’ve encountered. Keep it up!”

Ricardo the site manager is also very responsive and helpful with any issues.Parking can get tight when it's busy, but so far has not prevented access. Sometimes there are not enough transport carts so you might consider bringing your own if you have a lot of stuff to move.”

“I have to say that the staff was 100% completely awesome they were super friendly the two people I spoke with and then another man took the time to send me a voicemail just making sure that everything was okay with the storage I actually haven't made it to my storage unit yet to check it out the key is left inside for me so I can't really say about the actual unit itself but pretty much all units are the same cement walls cement floors you know but about the customer service I think it was wonderful and they were very very friendly more friendly than any other storage place I've ever gone to I definitely would recommend them and the prices are also great”

“I was moving from Colorado to an apartment in Vancouver when the apartment told me they weren’t sure they’d approve me to move in anymore so I set up a storage space rental. The representative I spoke with was helpful over the phone. I ended up getting approved for the apartment when I was in Idaho on my way here so I called as soon as I could to cancel the storage unit. The manager was understanding and he went the distance to get me taken care of. I’ll definitely keep this place top of mind if I should need future storage.”

There were some safety issues in the past with break ins etc… but the staff is always helpful and wants to make everything right.I had a great experience with Robin recently. Dawn is a great communicator and has done wonders with not only the interior, she has made the day to day life at the warehouse run smoother. “This is the ABSOLUTELY BEST storage facility ANYWHERE! I will NEVER use another facility. I've had storage units with them for over 5 yrs now. The father & daughter that manage this place are heaven sent! There not like public storage (quick to auction off your belongings)! They know life happens.... & in my case, they were understanding & patient!!! The prices are great, the property is always clean, the location is great, the property is secure, & they do have a restroom on site. As well as live on site, which is a little more added security! I would strongly recommend them to any & everyone!”

“Great friendly staff the lady at reception sees my face and remembers my mailbox number. Also many cute little items like stationary, wallets, candles and other mailing supplies are also available there. It’s a little out of the way in the industrial zone so if you don’t have a car, you will have to walk about 10 minutes which isn’t bad as you won’t have to cross the road with heavy weight traffic.”
